The birds chirp as the sun rises, its rays seep through a small gap of the curtains bringing light into the room, the light hits Kripa's face forcing her to open her eyes, she blinks and sits up, she yawns then glances at a sleeping Angad, she leans closer and pecks his cheek then gets out of the bed, she looks around the room and spots her underwear and rushes over and picks them up and slips into the them, she heads to the door picking up Angad's shirt on the way. She buttons the shirt up and rolls the sleeves up while she stands in front of the sink, she looks around for a spare toothbrush but when she doesn't see one she picks up his and begins to brush her teeth. Once she's done, she contemplates whether to take a shower and decides to have one when she goes back to her house, she leaves the bathroom and heads downstairs to the kitchen, she smiles as she gets out some eggs from the fridge.
The last time she had been at Angad's house she had left without saying anything to him, at that time she wanted to crawl under a rock but now it is different, she's happy to be there. She continues frying the eggs when she hears Angad coming down the stairs, she looks left and sees him standing by the kitchen door shirtless wearing his PJs, he yawns then goes forward and wraps his arms around her
"Good morning" he mumbles as he kisses her neck
"Good morning" Kripa replies as she turns her head around giving him a light kiss on his lips
"What you cooking?"
"Scrambled eggs, have you showered?"
"Yes but how about we have another shower together?"
"Maybe next time, I'll shower when I get home"
"Why do you have to go?" Angad groans
"Because I have to go to work, so do you"
Kripa switches the gas off and turns and hugs him, he smiles and kisses her lightly
"Why go to work? Stay here all day with me"
"Because I have to meet Rahul later"
Angad nods his head remembering Rahul.
"So what are you going to tell him?" Angad asks as he pulls away from Kripa to take a seat at the kitchen table. Kripa gives him his breakfast then sits opposite him.
"Probably what I told you"
Angad nods his head as he slices the scrambled eggs, he recalls asking Kripa countless times in the car but she hadn't said a word until they got to his house where she told him what she read in Mishty's diary. He grins to himself as he remembers her practically jumping on him in the bedroom, he mentally thanked Mishty for writing her feelings in the diary but he felt slightly guilty, he had never known Mishty had feelings for him, he just always assumed she didn't want him dating Kripa because she never liked her but in the end everything has worked out ok.
They both finish their breakfast and head upstairs to get changed, Angad offers to drop Kripa home before he goes to work and she accepts, she gives him a kiss then gets out of the car, Angad waves and drives off from her house, Kripa takes her keys from her bag and unlocks the main door, she goes inside and goes to her bedroom, she leaves her bag on her bed and goes and gets fresh clothes from her cupboard, she heads for the bathroom and has a shower, she gets out then begins to get changed. Kripa finishes combing her hair and looks at herself in the mirror, she has a new glow on her face, exactly the way she looked when she was in high school when she and Angad first got together, and she smiles to herself then picks up her handbag and heads out of the door to go to work.
She sits at her desk working when she hears a knock at her door, confused she stands up and opens the door only to see a man holding a bouquet of roses, she half expects it to be Angad but in fact it is the delivery man, he takes her signature then hands her the flowers, Kripa closes the door and smells the flowers, she spots a card inside and picks it out. She smiles as she reads Angad's message
"I miss you too much already, love Angad"
Kripa shakes her head at his childishness, she puts the flowers down and sits back at her desk, she picks up her pen to work but her eyes slide to the flowers, she huffs and sits back in the chair, as if the day wasn't going slow enough now she kept thinking about Angad. Fed up of her situation she gets up from her desk and stands by the window, she opens it slightly letting the fresh air in, she turns to her desk and looks at the photo of her and Rahul, she makes a mental note to get a photo of her and Angad to display on her desk.
She picks up the phone and dials in Rahul's office number, the receptionist answers and she asks to speak to Rahul, he comes to the phone
"Hey sis, what's up? Anything important?"
"What time do you finish work?" Kripa asks as she stares at the roses
"Around 6 why?"
"I'll be at yours at 7 ok?"
"Ok but why?"
"I'll tell you when I get there, see you then, oh and don't cook anything; I'll bring some Chinese round ok?"
"Ok whatever you say"
Kripa hangs up, she knows Rahul has a million questions in his mind but it isn't right to tell him over the phone, this is something to tell him to his face, even if it is only to see the reaction he gives her. Kripa looks at the flowers again then picks up the phone again but this time dials Angad's office number, she lets it ring then hears Angad on the other side.
"You've reached Angad Khanna, how can I help you?"
"Do you always say that when you answer your phone?" Kripa laughs slightly
Angad grins hearing Kripa's voice, he puts his pen down and sits back in his chair.
"Yeah I have to, did you get the flowers?" Angad asks
"Yes I did, thanks a lot"
"No problem, so was there something you wanted?"
"No not really, I've just called Rahul and told him I'll be at his at 7, are you going to come?"
"Are you going to tell him about us?"
"Yes"
"In that case, its better if I don't come, who knows how he'll react when he hears about us, and besides this is between you and your brother, there's no need for me to be there but do call me after and tell me what happened"
"Ok will do Angad, I better go, I haven't been able to get any work done so I better start now"
"Really? Why's that? Does a certain someone keep creeping into your thoughts?" Angad asks cheekily
"Lets just say seeing you topless in the morning wasn't the best of ideas"
Angad chuckles and leans forward on his desk
"Talk about yourself, I can't get the image of you wearing my shirt out of my head, but I must agree, the shirt looked better on you than it ever did on me"
"I only wore your shirt because it was the first thing I saw, don't get used to it"
"Why not? It was a wonderful sight for me"
"Oh be quiet Angad, go do your work"
"I was before you rang me"
"Well then I won't ring you again"
"Ok then, bye" Angad says
"Bye" Kripa replies
Angad waits a second then grins to himself
"Hang up then"
"I am!"
Kripa hangs up and smiles to herself, she looks up and sees her boss, Kripa stands up
"Yes sir, was there something you wanted?"
"I came to discuss the White case with you but you were too busy discussing clothes with someone"
Kripa blushes and looks down to the floor
"Sorry sir, I'll bring the file to your office in a few minutes, and it won't happen again"
"Very well then"
Her boss leaves, Kripa grins to herself before picking up the file and leaving the office.
Angad smiles as he twirls the pen in his hand, he leans back and closes his eyes thinking of Kripa, his thoughts are interrupted when he hears a knock on the door, he quickly sits forward pretending to do work then calls out to whoever it is to come inside, he sees the Finance Manager and quickly stands up
"Yes sir?"
"Angad, please come to my office"
Angad nods his head and wonders what the manager wants, he puts his pen down and leaves the office following the manager to his office, a few workers glance his way and he merely shrugs his shoulders at them. The manager sits in his chair and gestures for Angad to sit in the chair opposite, Angad does so then waits eagerly for the manager to speak
"Angad how long have you been working with this company?"
"Three years sir" Angad replies thinking that he's about to get fired, he shifts in his chair.
"I see, I've been looking through your files, you've done a lot for a trainee accountant"
"Well its all thanks to the company for giving me the opportunity" Angad says hoping if he butters the manager up, he may think again before firing him.
"This is why I and the MD feel you don't suit this position"
Angad closes his eyes and nods his head
"I'll pack my things away sir" He begins to stand up but the manager ushers him to sit down
"Pack your things, why?" He asks
"Sir, since you're firing me, I'll need to get my things"
The manager laughs then stands up and walks over to Angad, he pats his shoulder and smiles
"You're not being fired Angad, you've been promoted to Accounts Supervisor, congratulations!"
It takes a second for the words to sink in to Angad mind but when they do he stands up happily and shakes the manager's hand
"Thanks a lot Sir, I won't let you down"
"I'm well aware of that, you'll still have your office but the work load will be more, now you'll have to watch over others"
"Yes Sir"
Angad thanks him again and leaves the office, he gives the other workers the good news who also congratulate him then he heads to his office, he picks up the phone ready to call Kripa but decides he'll tell her when she rings him later with news of her conversation with Rahul.

"Are you just going to stare at me like that?" Kripa asks Rahul as she sits next to him on the sofa after having dinner and confessing about everything that happened.
"Let me get this straight…Angad came to talk to you…so you could get back together since you both spent that night together…then you asked him to prove he never betrayed you"
Kripa nods her head, Rahul shuffles the continues
"Then he told you to speak to Prithvi…who told you that Mishty kept a diary…you read the diary in which Mishty confessed she deliberately wanted Angad to come to her on Prom night so that your Prom would be ruined"
"Yes, that is what I just told you"
Rahul nods his head
"But sis, if you had spoken to Angad after Prom night instead of giving him the cold shoulder like you did, don't you think it would have saved a lot of time…heck you and him could have been married by now" Rahul explains
"Yes but I wasn't very intelligent back then, the only thing that kept going round in my head was that he never turned up to Prom and that he was with Mishty" Kripa replies
"Ok, sis I'm happy for you, but there's something I need to confess as well"
"What?" she asks
"I always knew Angad never betrayed you, he had told me everything, I wanted to tell you but he told me not to, saying it was none of my business"
Kripa smiles at his sulking face, she moves closer and hugs him
"He was right, it had nothing to do with you, this was something he and I needed to sort out between ourselves"
"Ok, so tell me, now that you and Angad are back together, does that mean you'll spend all your time with him and none with me?" Rahul pouts
"Kripa giggles then links her arm through his and rests her head on his shoulder
"No one in the world is more important than you Rahul, not even Angad"
Rahul smiles and kisses her hair.
Kripa's phone begins to ring from her bag, Rahul gestures for her to stay seated then gets up and takes the phone out of her bag, he grins at her and sits next to her
"It's Angad"
Kripa takes the phone from him and answers
"Kripa, why didn't you call? I've been waiting anxiously!"
Kripa laughs at Angad
"Sorry Angad, I guess I lost track of time"
"It's ok, so what did Rahul say?"
Kripa glances at Rahul and gestures for him to go away, he gets the hint and walks off to the kitchen to get a drink, she sits back and smiles.
"He's ok with it, I knew he would be"
"That's great Kripa, anyways I have some other good news"
"Good news? What news?" Kripa asks just as Rahul comes back with two glasses of orange juice, Kripa takes one and sips it
"I've been promoted!" Angad exclaims
"What? That's great Angad!" She replies, she glances at Rahul and tells him the same thing, Rahul is also happy and congratulates Angad as well.
"That's great dude, hey we should celebrate, I mean you and my sister are back together and now you've been promoted, what do you think?" Rahul asks
"Rahul that's a good idea, how about tonight?" Angad replies
"Great"
Rahul hands the phone back to Kripa where Angad fills her on the plan to go out tonight to celebrate, she agrees and hangs up, Rahul grins at her, Kripa stands up
"I better go home and get changed"
"Cool sis, see you later, I'll be at yours in an hour ok?"
Kripa nods her head and slips on her coat, she picks her bag up and kisses Rahul's cheek and leaves. Rahul heads to his room to get changed while Kripa drives back to her house to get changed.

"Here's to my promotion" Angad says as he, Kripa and Rahul raise their glasses. They clink together all yelling out cheers.
"And here's to both of you, may you stay together forever" Rahul says after Angad, the other two nod their heads and they clink glasses again. They finish the drinks and sit back down at the table, Rahul looks around and spots a cute girl, he excuses himself and goes to the dance floor, Kripa shuffles closer to Angad and allows him to wrap his arms around her, he kisses her neck softly then moves his head close to her ear
"You're lucky for me you know that?"
Kripa scrunches her face and looks at him, he gets the hint that she didn't hear him so he moves her off him and gets up, takes her hand and leads her outside. They put their arms around each others waists and start strolling outside the club. There are some loud people there but slowly Angad and Kripa stroll to peacefulness, Kripa looks at him.
"What were you saying inside?"
"That you're lucky for me" Angad tells her again
"I am? How?" Kripa asks
"Well, I've been working at my company for almost three years and I never received a promotion, but now, it hasn't even been a day since we got back together and I've been promoted, if that's not lucky then I don't know what is"
Kripa stops walking causing Angad to stop, she grins and kisses him softly, Angad smiles and kisses her back until they both hear someone clearing their throat, the pull away from each other and look to the side to find Prithvi standing there smiling, Angad breaks away from Kripa and walks over to Prithvi and gives him a hug, Kripa follows and hugs Prithvi softly too.
"Wow, what a sight, I didn't think Scotland was that good for you"
Angad and Kripa look at each other and Angad chuckles
"Scotland was very bad for us actually"
Prithvi looks confused and Angad fills him in on everything that had happened over the past month or so
"So you guys have only just got back together?" Prithvi asks
"Yeah, just yesterday" Angad tells him
Prithvi smiles and hugs Angad again
"I'm happy for you both"
"Thanks" Kripa says
"So is that why you are here, celebrating?" Prithvi asks as they begin walking back to the club
"Well that and the fact that I got promoted, things are as good as it gets" Angad tells him proudly
Prithvi exclaims his happiness and congratulates Angad before entering the club, Kripa looks around and spots Rahul standing by the bar, the three of them head to the bar where Angad introduces him to Prithvi, Angad puts his arm around Rahul's shoulder and leans closer
"So what happened to that girl you was checking out?"
"She had a boyfriend" He replies
Rahul frowns while Angad laughs and tells him to have a drink and to forget her. Angad looks at Kripa smiling and chatting to Prithvi and slips his arm around her waist
"Shall we dance?" Angad asks
Kripa nods her head, Angad excuses them both then leads Kripa on to the dance floor while Prithvi and Rahul watch happily. Angad pulls Kripa close to him and places his hands on her waist while Kripa wraps her arms around his neck leaning on his chest; they begin to sway as the music changes to Soniye Je Tere from Karzzzz

Kripa closes her eyes as she rests her head against Angad's chest, she listens closely to the lyrics and wonders if they are meant for her and Angad, she also recalls how she misunderstood Angad and knows that if there ever was a day where either betrayed the other then would they would certainly die from within
