Dahhej is ending 9th October india

9X is re-working on its programming line-up in a bid to bolster its TRPs.

After it was announced that Creative Eye's 'Veeranwali' and Edit II's 'Neelanjana' will be wrapped up, its now been confirmed that B.A.G's 'Dahhej' will too follow suit.

While the former two shows will be ending on Thursday 2nd October in India (in the UK later this year), 'Dahhej' on the otherhand will be ending on Thursday 9th October.

Indrani Mukerjea, CEO and Founder INX Media confirmed the news about 'Dahhej' to BizAsia.co.uk.

A source from 'Dahhej' told TellyChakkar, "The show is confirmed to go off-air on 9 October. The story currently shows that lead actress Kalyani revisits her past to save her sister. It is believed that they have similar horoscopes. And whatever has happened to Kalyani in the past will happen to her sister in future. In order to correct her sister's future Kalyani goes back to her past to solve the mystery where she was killed for dowry. She has to unveil the murderer."

A channel spokesman said that the shows weren't been axed and a natural ending will be given, similar to a season finale, hinting at a possible return later.
