Ajeeb - a show on human parts trafficking

Ajeeb, a new show, is a medical thriller about human parts trafficking. The show will have different stories after every two weeks. Producer of the show Bonnie Jain and new girl Aarti Thakur who will debut through this show gave us details.

Bonnie explains that the show has many emotions, "It is a mix for romance; suspense in the background of a hospital. SBMI, a hospital, is the top most one in medical science where resident doctors die to practice. So that is how Anjali steps in. She is a very bright girl, it is a story of how she gets in the hospital but things do not go well. Then her journey starts, she leaves the hospital but one of her best friends comes in and helps her get back.

"She realizes that lots of things happen in this hospital which should not be happening. Healthy people are treated and operated for no reason; some of them are going in coma after treatments. It is basically a thriller element which will hook people to this show. There will be lots of characters who will be coming in and out in the show like Tanaaz-Bakhtiyar Irani, Sakshi Tanwar, Shweta Tiwari, Varun Badola and they are playing a very important role in the show."

Further, talking about different parts of the show, he says:" I do not know how other shows with this subject have been treated and with how much depth. But here we have done 3 months of massive research. It is not a show about a bunch of doctors who will have love interests. Through Anjali's character, people will come to know what actually happens in hospitals."

Praising the show, Aarti says, "This is my first show and I do not think I could have got a better opportunity. I am playing a doctor in the show, my character has not only responsibilities but also emotions – sometimes she is tough and at other times she is very close to her patients. Moreover she has a romantic angle too. It is a great start for me."
