Apara to work with Shobhana again - Article

The saas of Indian television Apara Mehta who made her debut with Shobhana Desai's serial Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka will be seen in a cameo in Shobhana's new show Hamari Devrani.


Apara's working with Shobhana Desai after 10 years now. Of course it's just a guest entry where she plays a judge in a couple dance competition in the serial. But Apara's glad to be a part of the show. She says, "It feels like coming back home. Shobhanaji has always treated me as a younger sister and I have reciprocated the same love. The best part is here I am playing myself as the judge of a dance competition."

Shobhana has this to say about Apara, "It was a pleasure to work with Apara after almost a decade. I am very happy especially because she made her debut with my serial Ek Mahal... and today she has become a popular television star. However, she remains unaffected by the success she has seen and is still the same at heart."
