I agree with "every hit film benefits the entire industry"... so nothing against a successful Hindi Drishyam 3

Yes.Jeetu said that the kannada telugu makers didnt remake drishyam3 because they were not happy with its climax.

Already in the Hindi Drishyam 2, Jeetu's script got turned a bit more into a less family-focussed movie, so it is understandable that the Hindi Drishyam 3 got even more turned into another kind of movie. The Hindi Vijay is not the same as the Malayalam Georgekutty

Vijay has another 'aura' or presence (imo). Anyways, also Ajay and Mohanlal are different actors

I feel like that's what worked for Drishyam. It didn't copy the story and just paste it from one language to the other. The makers adapted it for the audience.

Drishyam 2 was a copy of the Malayalam version but 1 and now I'm hearing that 3 are quite different.

One of my friends has already gone and she said that the Hindi 3 gives a good closure to the story like expected for the audience while Malayalam 3 was an open ending that leaves a lot to audience interpretation and also to a 4th movie.

And both leads - Vijay vs Georgekutty - pull from their own experiences based on where they live, how they live, what they watch, etc., not just about India in general.

I feel like that's what made all 3 parts work as well. Yes Hindi Drishyam 2 didn't do stellar business but it still did really well and I think this final part will bring the Drishyam franchise to a really good close.
