Yesterday too Qazi had apologised to Kanika for lollipop word, not that it makes him any less guilty and she was normally dancing and singing afterwards. But Uditi madam went outside in kitchen and started bitching about Qazi with everyone and then it became a mudda. She has no compassion for anybody in the house, such a bland personality, kuch acha hai hi nai isme cheer karne k liye.

This has been going on since the beginning of Salman’s hosting. He tends to take a liking to one group and bash the others, sometimes regardless of whether the other group is actually in the wrong. Ironically, this ends up generating sympathy for the targeted group. It may not be an ideal way of handling things, but this is what it is. And honestly, people look forward to WKV partly because of this. SM starts buzzing every time Salman takes a stand.

Even in the past, contestants like Asim, Hina, Gauhar, Tanna (just a few names that come to mind) never let the host’s bashing completely derail their game. If anything, it generated sympathy for them. But this time, everyone, including Qazi, is being such a phattu. You can make out from their faces on wkv. They literally clap for Qazi to his face and then badmouth him behind his back. Bilkul game hi chhod diya hai apna.

I’m not saying that facing flak from the host every week doesn’t affect you mentally, it obviously can. But by now, they should know that this is part of the show. They need to learn to let it go, take whatever is useful from the feedback and focus on their own game instead of letting the host’s opinion dictate their entire approach.
