Part 7
The next morning, Karan informs the local police about the attack on Preeta.
Inspector Virat Chavan: Captain Karan, we have increased security around the house. If anyone tries to harm Preeta again, we will catch them.
Karan: Thank you, Inspector.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi and Ronit's wedding day arrives.
Their families gather at the beautifully decorated wedding venue.
Ronit ties the mangalsutra around Sonakshi's neck and applies sindoor in her hairline.
The priest announces,
Priest: From today onwards, you both are husband and wife.
Everyone showers the couple with flowers.
Karan, who had promised Sonakshi that he would attend her wedding, reaches the venue with Preeta.
Sonakshi smiles warmly.
Sonakshi: Thank you for coming.

Karan: I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
Ronit shakes Karan's hand.
Ronit: Thank you for understanding our love.
Karan: Take good care of her.
Ronit nods.
Preeta is happy to see Karan smiling wholeheartedly for the first time since Sonakshi's decision.
As Karan and Preeta leave the wedding venue, a speeding SUV blocks their path.
The same gang surrounds them.
Leader: Finish the Captain first!
A fierce fight begins.
Karan defeats several goons, but one of them escapes and grabs Preeta.
The gang drags her into an abandoned warehouse.
Inside the warehouse, Preeta is shocked to see the man whose murder she had witnessed at the hostel.
He laughs.
Villain: You should have kept your mouth shut that day.
Preeta: I will expose all of you.
The villain points a gun at her.
Just then, Karan and Inspector Virat arrive with the police.
A violent confrontation follows.
The villain tries to flee but is cornered by Karan.
After a brief struggle, the police arrest the entire gang.
The inspector recovers documents proving the criminals were involved in several murders and illegal activities.
A few days later, Ramesh learns the complete truth.
He discovers that Karan never married Preeta for money and had only come to protect her after she lied to save herself.
Overwhelmed with guilt, he walks to Karan.
Ramesh: Captain... I judged you without knowing you. I insulted you again and again. Will you forgive me?
Karan folds his hands respectfully.
Karan: Elders never have to apologize. I only wanted your daughter to be safe.
Ramesh turns toward Preeta.
His eyes fill with tears.
Ramesh: I forgot to understand your dreams. Forgive me, daughter.
Preeta hugs her father.
The entire family becomes emotional.
That evening, Amba notices Karan quietly preparing to leave.
Amba: Where are you going?
Karan: My work here is over. My leave is ending.
Preeta hears the conversation and becomes silent.
As Karan walks towards the gate, Ramesh stops him.
Ramesh: One minute.
Karan turns around.
Ramesh: Earlier, I refused to accept you as my son-in-law because I believed you had married my daughter for wealth. Today I know the truth. There was never a marriage between you two... but if you both agree, I want to bless your wedding.
Everyone looks at Karan and Preeta.
Karan smiles at Preeta.
Karan: This time, I don't want to pretend anymore.
Preeta smiles through tears.
Preeta: Neither do I.
Hai deewana ye ishqmera
Har ghadi le bas naam tera
Hai deewana ye ishq mera
Har ghadi le bas naam tera
Naam tera naam
Tera naam tera
Inkaar mein iqaraar
Hai kya yahi pyaar hai
The families happily begin the wedding preparations.
A few days later, Karan and Preeta are married with the blessings of both families.

At the same time, Ronit and Sonakshi visit them after their honeymoon.
Sonakshi: Congratulations!
Preeta: Thank you.
Karan and Ronit embrace warmly, while Sonakshi and Preeta smile at each other.
The two couples pose for a family photograph as everyone celebrates together.
Romantic Scene - Karan & Preeta
It is late evening.
The entire house is decorated with fairy lights for a family celebration. Everyone is busy downstairs, while Preeta walks onto the terrace to enjoy the cool breeze.
She looks up at the moon with a gentle smile.
A few moments later, Karan arrives with two cups of tea.
Karan: I thought you might be here.
Preeta smiles.
Preeta: How did you know?
Karan: Whenever you're upset or confused, you always come to the terrace.
Preeta accepts the cup.
Preeta: Looks like you've started understanding me.
Karan: Maybe... or perhaps I've started paying more attention.
Preeta blushes.
Hai deewana ye ishq mera
Har ghadi le bas naam tera
Naam tera naam
Tera naam tera
Inkaar mein iqaraar
Hai kya yahi pyaar hai
Hai deewana ye ishq
A gentle breeze blows, making a strand of her hair fall across her face.
Karan hesitates for a moment before softly tucking it behind her ear.
Their eyes meet.
Uthe kadam jo
Bahekane lage
Paagal hua ye samaan
Nazar jo simat ne lagi to
Jhuk ne laga aasmaan

Neither says a word.
For a few seconds, the world around them seems to stand still.
Suddenly, thunder rumbles across the sky.
Within moments, it starts raining.
Preeta laughs like a carefree child and stretches out her hands to feel the raindrops.
Preeta: I have always loved the rain.
Karan watches her with a smile.
Karan: I can see that.
She twirls happily in the rain.
As she slips on the wet floor, Karan quickly catches her by the waist before she can fall.
Their faces are only inches apart.
Na mujhako subah kapata
Na mujhako khabar shaam ki
Kahin chain lene na de
Muhabbat ki ye bekhudi

Preeta looks into his eyes.
Preeta (softly): Looks like you always appear whenever I'm about to fall.
Karan (smiling): Maybe destiny has assigned me that duty.
They continue looking at each other.
Hai deewana ye ishqmera
Har ghadi le bas naam tera
Hai deewana ye ishq mera
Har ghadi le bas naam tera
The rain grows heavier.
Karan removes his jacket and gently places it over Preeta's shoulders.
Naam tera naam
Tera naam tera
Inkaar mein iqaraar
Hai kya yahi pyaar hai
Preeta: You'll get drenched.
Karan: A soldier can handle the rain.
Preeta: But what about the person standing in front of the soldier?
Karan smiles.
Karan: She's more important.
Preeta lowers her eyes shyly.
They walk toward the terrace railing together.
Preeta notices a tiny cut on Karan's hand from the recent fight with the goons.
She gently holds his hand.
Preeta: You never think about yourself, do you?
She carefully wipes the wound with her handkerchief.
Karan keeps looking at her.
Karan: You know... every wound I've received in the Army has healed with medicine.
He pauses.
Karan: But today... your concern feels like the best medicine I've ever had.
Preeta looks up at him.

Their fingers remain intertwined.
For a moment, both forget the world around them.
Hai deewana ye ishq mera
Har ghadi le bas naam tera
Naam tera naam
Tera naam tera
Inkaar mein iqaraar
Hai kya yahi pyaar hai
Hai deewana ye ishq
Just then, Amba calls from downstairs.
Amba: Karan... Preeta... where are you both?
They immediately let go of each other's hands and laugh awkwardly.
Preeta: We should go.
Karan: Yes... Before everyone starts searching for us.
They walk downstairs side by side, stealing shy glances at each other, both realizing that what had begun as a fake relationship had quietly blossomed into true love.
