This is what happens when one contestant takes the lead it is expected that everyone remain 'loyal' and support him but in the end they have to look out for themselves. If sitting with him is only to give him footage and they are just reacting then it's understandable they want to detach.

It could also be that other group is unbearable to deal with so these people are sitting together , kind of like enjoys or talking to each other that doesn't mean they can't express their opinions.
