If Sudha didn't want rakshit to marry then she wouldn't have taken rishta to appu house without telling him or take her kangan out for her in initially eps she wanted rakshit to propose her too which he didn't nd she wanted to know the reason of rejection of it.

There was no hint of Arvind being married before. Also as Annu mentioned Sudha wanted Raksit to propose to Appu and she took the rishta to her house.. Sudha stepped back after knowing Appu is divorcee and also Lalait's mom has filled negativity about Appu in her mind

Though Sudha should trust her son Rakshit choice and give him freedom of choosing his life partner, she is blinded by hatred for Appu for now..
