Dear participants,

Round 5 is going to be a little different. I have something planned that will unfold in two different phases, but for now, I am not revealing what either of those phases is going to be. 😌

All I can tell you is that the two phases will test you in very different ways. The details, rules and challenges will be revealed at the right time, so for now, consider this your little teaser for what is coming next.

However, there is one thing I need from you right now. One of the phases will be conducted through live slots, and I want to divide everyone into two groups to make participation easier.

The available slots will be:

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM IST
8:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST

The live phase will take place across three consecutive days, from 18th to 20th September (Friday to Sunday). However, these slots can be adjusted a bit for Saturday and Sunday (but slots will be two anyways).

You have to choose any ONE slot for each of the three days and please mention it here clearly in this thread.

I prefer 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST slot.

This weekend won't work for me for any of the slots

Trivia 3--

Did you know the oldest written (available and found) reference of Mahabharata doesn't come from India but from Spitzer manuscript excavated in China. These are dated from 1st to 3rd century CE

The parts of these manuscript mentions Mahabharat Granth also mentioning it's major Parvas named sequentially..

This do not have the mention of Virat Parba and later Anushasan Parva...making many wonder if those parts are later additions or the parts of these Parvas were originally in some other Parva (like Shanti Parva and Anushasan Parva are practically continuation yet divided though it could have been a single Parva) and these were later taken out so as to ensure number of Parvas in Mahabharata equals the most important number of Mahabharat (i.e. 18- you know 18 days war, 18 akshauni sena, 18 adhyaya in Bhagwat Geeta)

To add, Spitzer manuscript had also mentioned another important text of India - The Kautilya's Arthashashtra... Unfortunately the parts mentioning Arthashashtra were later lost/got destroyed

I guess sickness is going around. I was sick since last two weekends n my son is sick from last Saturday, still poor guy has stuffed sinuses. I need to check the eastern time and decide what time would be able to. This weekend is busy I would try to work it out. Live rounds are always tough to find time with.
