Oh yeah. I really think Saumya should be the one to initiate the touch.

Problem yeh ho gayi hai/ that they have overhyped this so called "first touch" so much while at the same time maintaining again and again that the love story hasn't started at all and these 2 are just platonic with a soft spot for each other.

When the first touch will happen, it will wash away all this platonic relationship ka jaap. Both Saumya and Jeet know very well what it means for her to touch a man.

Toh yeh first touch bahut hi aage denge when they will officially have to claim love story has started lol.

Yeh bulwayenge sorry. I'll be happy to be wrong about this, but yeh ITV mein bado ki izzat ke naam par kitne crimes and atrocities get swept under the rug.

Ridhaan ka love is so khokhla right now that despite knowing that he's an "obstacle" for Jeet/Saumya's story, I just don't see him as that big of a threat.

I get what you mean. I think I'm purely watching it as an ItV show and not expecting anything path breaking. Do I still think they are handling a storyline of childhood SA abysmally? Yes

But do I still think that these 2 ullus have crazy chemistry and for the most part - their character sketch is intact? Yes.

On social media, people seem to be super pissed with Saumya demanding a sorry for Papaji. While I I don't agree with her either- she's still very in sync with her character sketch so far. Saumya ko pujaniya papaji ke samne kuch nai dikhta. Why the surprise then lol.

I'm sure Jeet will handle this in his own way and not bow down.

Show ki problem hi yeh hai. Fitoor, fitoor karke hype kar rahe hai, aur show mein dikha rahe hai sirf bandish. 50 episodes hone ko aaye hai aur abhi tak sirf side characters ko bulake bahar phek rahe hai.

I would defend Saumya like I have before regarding her papa jaap compelling her to tell Jeet to apologize to Anoop, but she's never before asked him to. So many instances before where she was mad at Jeet when a misunderstanding occurred between her and Anoop because of Jeet's actions. But she just remained mad at him. Didn't tell him to apologize. And they were arguably things of greater proportion than what happened today.

I feel like it was such a cheap way to create tension between Jeet and Saumya when they could've done something else.

Matlab chalo offscreen hi sahi, kisi ka parenting/guardianship toh accha tha. Baki Anoop/Madhu and Sanjeev/Neeta-Geeta ka toh kya hi kahe.

I totally get what you mean. They have created a conflict out of nothing.

But in tomorrows precap- the way Jeet confronts Anoop- with the strong words he uses and paints Anoop as the ultimate villain in Saumyas life (which he is BTW)- I understand Saumya using the words - Aap Hadh paar kar rahe hain.

I wish instead of insisting on "sorry boliye" the conflict could be you were so harsh with my dad and insulted him and I don't condone your actions. That's believable.

This sorry jaap is super zabardasti.

That being said- I'm glad Jeet did what he did today and the precap. Both Sarthak ki tension and nonsense had been simmering under the surface and Jeet was being very polite about it but to see physical abuse first hand was something else.

same with Papaji. He was getting frustrated with Anoop treating Saumya as a bhoj but was still being well meaning and supportive in shaadi endeavors. But in the precap he gave the much needed reality check that the audience was craving for and he has been feeling in his voice overs whenever he used to eavesdrop on Mathurs Saumya ka shaadi Abhiyaan. Glad they delivered on both those fronts.

Currently Jeet should stay away from saumya because

Saumya needs to grow up before there being anything between her and Jeet! As much as we all want the best for Saumya, Jeet also deserves a lot better than what she can offer him right now

He has also lived a very tough life, he needs someone he can lean on and I don't think Saumya can give him that right now
