Ok, I think I now know why his entry was delayed. They wanted him to whiten his hair to match Tulsi's. Now, he either didn't agree immediately or wanted extra payment, the hiked price is matching with the amount of hair he's supposed to whiten.

Ekta wanted to avoid extra money and so the negotiations were ongoing and hence the side quest with Anupam becoming Bruno in the meantime. Wouldn't surprise me if Mandira is back in a bid to recreate history as she was the one who rescued Mihir and saved his life after an accident where he fell in a coma all over again. Anupam probably was sharing the ward and woke up once Mihir was there.

Now that Ekta has agreed to raise the payment by peanuts, Amar is back with equally whitened hair and Anupam will be shipped off to the spinoff which will also likely end next month along with Kyunki.

They are trying to show, anupam and kesar died in same accident as sid's mom! But what is this non sense!

That driver Shankar said he used to work for Sid's real mom 12 years ago. Sid mentioned his mom passed away when he was 1 year old. Yeh writers bhool jate hain kya jo bhi pehle dikhate hain.
