The doctor's question was justified

Maan was clearly shattered

The truth does hurt

His thoughts were reasonable

His clearly realised what he did

Sad that he left his hatred and anger overpower his rational thinking

Upset that he refused to admit that what he did was wrong

Angry that he said that she deserved that pain

He was clearly ruined an innocent soul

Of cos the doctor questioned Maan further

As expected Maan remained silent

So the doctor prodded Maan

Glad that she confronted Maan

She was correct that Geet died a long time ago

At least she saw the guilt and denial on Maan's face

Well Maan stopped her

But the doctor pushed Maan

Great that she showed Maan the reality

Agree with the doc that the responsibility is keeping Geet going

Pleased that the doctor's words impacted on Maan

Not surprised that Maan did not want to talk about this any longer

The doctor was right that this would not change anything

The doctor raised valid points

Maan certainly does not know anything about Geet

Good that she asked hard hitting questions

The doctor spoke to Geet

Geet just wants freedom from this life

The doctor naturally wants to help Geet

Finally Geet reacted... she cried

Finally the doctor got something to work with. She doesn't know the whole story but she has gathered enough about the dynamics between Maan and Geet. Maan is not ready to open up or accept what he did. He is still in denial. The association of Geet and Sameera weighs heavily in his mind and he can not separate the two. He never looked at Geet as her own person. He doesn't see that Geet and Sameera are not the same. He thinks they should be the same with their shared blood. Logic does not work with a mind burdened by past hurt. The doctor might get him to talk about his childhood at some point.

Geet finally reacted. Besides Arjit, the only other impact to her is her parents. She misses them deeply. After they were gone, she was probably never too close to anyone, not even Sameera.

Interesting update. The doctor asked if he has taken out his stepmother anger on Geet it took Maan to that night he stiffened and informs the doctor he did not do anything wrong. The doctor asks him why does she deserve pain and if she deserve it than why bring her for treatment. She asks him to kill her if he thinks Geet deserves to suffer. Doctor tells him that she is not living anymore just carrying the remains of the person she used to be. Maan does not want to hear anything from the doctor. The doctor says that if he continues to treat her like she deserves punishment than he will realize that there is nothing left in her to punish this really hits him hard. After coming out he asks Geet to go inside to day Geet speaks why doctor needs her happiness she does not need it she wants to to her parents. Her mother understands her, her father will protect her for the first time her voice trembled and drop of tears fell from her eyes.

Interesting update. Geet spoke about her parents and blames herself for their demise. She tells that she is all alone and no one to protect her. The doctor tells her that she should not blame herself it was destiny may be it wanted her to live. Doctor tells her that like how she loves her parents the same way Arjit also lives her. Geet informs her that Arjit was imposed on her she tells her that he has his father doctor makes her understand that he needs his mother too she tells her not to decide about her life today. She comes out of the room and Arjit runs to her Geet picks him up and hugs him. Maan and Geet have talk on enrolling Arjit in nursery Geet does not suggest anything which angers Maan. She tells him after 3 months all decisions will be made by him as they will be divorced.

Geet is carrying survivor's guilt. She blames herself for being alive while her parents died. Not only that, she felt lost without them. There was no one for her. Sameera brought her but she was never able to fill that void. She is at least talking about it. She never talked much before. The doctor is getting her to start thinking about her life, about Arjit. Just like she felt lost without her parents, Arjit will be lost without her too. He will have the same void, even worse since he is so young. Her life has value to Arjit. Her desire to leave her life is not factoring in what Arjit will go through. The doctor might get her to see that.

Maan is frustrated that she takes no interest in anything. There is nothing new here. She has been like this since the beginning. He should be expecting this now.
