Part 9 - Two Hearts, One Celebration
A few days had passed since the truth about Sagar had finally come out.
Preeta had forgiven Rishab.
The misunderstandings between them were slowly disappearing, replaced by the love that had existed between them through every letter.
And Karan had kept his promise.
He had become the cupid who brought Rishab and Preeta together.
But while everyone prepared for Rishab and Preeta's wedding, one person remained unusually quiet.
Karan accepted his brother's happiness.
He had even convinced Preeta to follow her heart.
But somewhere inside, there was still an emptiness.
One evening, Karan stood alone beside the swimming pool.
Simran approached him.
"You've been avoiding everyone."
Karan smiled faintly.
"Not everyone."
"Me?"
He looked at her.
"You especially."
Simar frowned.
"Why?"
"Because whenever I see you, I forget that I'm supposed to be sad."
Simran smiled.
"Then perhaps you should stop being sad."
Karan laughed softly.
"You make it sound easy."
"Isn't it?"
"No."
He looked toward the water.
"I lost someone I loved."
Simar became quiet.
"I know."
Karan turned toward her.
"But I also realized something."
"What?"
"Sometimes love isn't about getting the person you want."
"It's about wanting that person to be happy."
Simar smiled.
"And you made that sacrifice for Rishab."
Karan nodded.
"He's my brother."
"But what about you?"
Karan didn't answer.
Simar stepped closer.
"What about your happiness, Karan?"
He looked into her eyes.
"I don't know."
"You should."
"Why?"
"Because..."
She stopped.
Karan waited.
"Because I don't want to see you unhappy."
Karan's expression softened.
"Simar..."
She took a breath.
"I know you loved Preeta."
"I know you sacrificed your love for your brother."
"But somewhere along the way..."
She smiled through her nervousness.
"...you became someone very important to me."
Karan stared at her.
"How important?"
Simar looked into his eyes.
"Important enough that I don't want to imagine my life without you."
Karan's eyes widened.
"Are you saying..."
"Yes."
She smiled.
"I love you, Karan."
For a moment, Karan couldn't speak.
Then the familiar mischievous smile returned to his face.
"Do you know something?"
"What?"
"For the first time in my life, a girl has confessed her love before I could flirt with her."
Simar laughed.
"You're impossible."
Karan gently took her hand.
"Maybe."
"But I'm yours."
Simar smiled.
"And I'm yours."

Karan pulled her into a warm embrace.
For the first time, the love he felt wasn't complicated by a secret, a lie, or a sacrifice.
It was simply love.
The Wedding Preparations
The news of Karan and Simran's relationship brought another wave of happiness to the Luthra family.
Rakhi couldn't stop smiling.
"So one wedding has become two!"
Karan grinned.
"Why should Bhai have all the attention?"
Rishab laughed.
"You've finally found someone who can handle you."
Simar looked at Karan.
"I'm still reconsidering."
Karan pretended to be shocked.
"After everything I've done for you?"
Preeta laughed.
"You deserve it."
Karan looked at her.
"You too?"
"Of course."

Rishab placed a hand on Karan's shoulder.
"Thank you."
Karan looked at him.
"For what?"
"For giving us a chance."
Karan smiled.
"You don't have to thank me, Bhai."
"You deserve her."
Rishab embraced him.
"And you deserve happiness too."
Karan glanced toward Simar.
"I think I've found it."
The Wedding Day
The Luthra house was decorated beautifully.
Flowers covered the entrance.
Music filled the air.
Family members moved around excitedly.
But this wasn't going to be an ordinary wedding.
There were two grooms.
And two brides.
Rishab wore traditional wedding attire.
Beside him stood Karan, looking unusually serious despite everyone's teasing.
Rakhi looked at both her sons with tears in her eyes.
"Today I have two sons getting married."

Mahesh smiled proudly.
"Two sons who came into my life in completely different ways."
Rishab looked at Mahesh.
Karan placed his arm around his brother.
"And both are staying."
Mahesh laughed.
"That's what I wanted to hear."
Rishab and Preeta
Preeta walked toward the mandap.
The moment Rishab saw her, everything around him seemed to disappear.
He remembered the first letter.
The poems.
The photograph.
The empty frame.
The pendant engraved with Sagar.
And the woman who had loved a poet without ever knowing his face.
Preeta stood beside him.
Rishab whispered,
"Do you still remember what you wrote to Sagar?"
She smiled.
"Which letter?"
"The one where you said your heartbeat became faster whenever the postman arrived."
Preeta smiled shyly.
"Yes."
Rishab leaned closer.
"Mine did too."
She looked at him.
"When?"
"The day I realized you were the woman behind all those letters."

Preeta's eyes filled with happiness.
"You were Sagar all along."
Rishab smiled.
"And you were always the person I was waiting for."
Karan and Simar
At the other mandap, Karan looked at Simar.
She smiled.
"Why are you staring?"
Karan replied,
"I'm making sure you're real."
She laughed.
"You still can't believe it?"
"I spent my whole life thinking love was a game."
"And now?"
Karan took her hand.
"Now I know love is the one game where I actually wanted to lose my heart."
Simar smiled.
"I love you."
Karan looked at her affectionately.
"I love you too."

Two Weddings
The rituals began.
Rishab and Preeta completed their wedding ceremony.
At the same time, Karan and Simran completed theirs.
Two brothers.
Two brides.
Two love stories.
Yet one family.
As the wedding rituals ended, the entire family gathered together.
Karan looked at Rishab.
"So, Bhai..."
Rishab smiled.
"Yes?"
"Looks like we're finally even."
Rishab laughed.
"How?"
"You found your Preeta."
He glanced at Simar.
"And I found my Simar."
Rishab embraced him.
"Not even."
"What?"
"You got the better deal."
Karan laughed.
"Now that's the Rishab I know."
Preeta and Simar joined them.
Rakhi wiped her tears.
Mahesh looked proudly at his sons.

Two brothers who had once entered each other's lives through fate had now reached the same destination together.
Epilogue
Later that evening, Preeta stood before the old photo frame in her room.
It was no longer empty.
Inside it was a photograph of Rishab.
She touched the frame gently.
Rishab stood beside her.
"Happy?"
She smiled.
"Very."
He looked at the photograph.
"Do you still miss Sagar?"
Preeta turned toward him.
"No."
"Why?"
She smiled.
"Because Sagar isn't a mystery anymore."
She took his hand.
"He's my husband."
Rishab smiled.
Across the house, Karan and Simar were laughing together.
Karan looked at his brother.
Rishab looked back.
No jealousy.
No secrets.
No misunderstandings.
Only love.
The love of two brothers.
The love of two couples.
And a story that had begun with poetry, letters, and an empty frame...

Finally ended with two marriages, two new beginnings, and four hearts finding their way home.
The End.
