It's funny you mention that, because in the dohale jevan interviews, Vijay had sort of said the same thing, that Kavya and Parth dealing with the surrogacy track would have created some high voltage drama.

But I don't understand what the makers see in that Nandini aunty. She cannot act, does not look good but somehow they make her important. Her romance scene with Jeeva is horrible. They have wasted jeeva character by pairing up with her.

Maybe it's just me, but JN romantic scenes seem to have a lot more dialogue compared to KP. It almost feels like the extra talking is used to cover up how uncomfortable the pair looks in romantic scenes. And then instead of coming across as romance between two adults, the scene turns into full-on balishpana 😳

So writers are forced to glorify Nandini

Not sure about Star, but the production house definitely seems to favor Mrunal.The writers also seem more invested in her and the JN pair especially with how often they comment on fan pages and Vivek's reels.

Plus, JN fans are very aggressive on social media and don't seem to hold back when their pair doesn't get importance. So maybe that also creates pressure on the makers/writers to give JN more focus and more storyline at times. Compared to that, KP fans seem a lot quieter.
