Lahiru Kumara to Rishabh Pant, no run, Lahiru Kumara bangs one in short and Rishabh Pant goes for the pull, but only manages to glove it. The ball dribbles down the leg side towards the keeper, but Pant is immediately in discomfort, appearing to have taken the blow on his wrist bone. The physio rushes out with an ice pack to prevent swelling. After a lengthy delay, tape is briefly applied to Pant's wrist before being removed. The umpire then checks in with him, and Pant is forced to walk off retired hurt. Ravindra Jadeja comes out to replace him.
