Yeah. But he will go against his mom - something that was foretold in the initial eps. She may have succeeded in insulting Sharma's... and may have the support of RB for the time being, but by doing this she will lose him soon. All for the good.

We dont know the reasons why he was unmarried for a long time and dont know if they will go into it too. Wont be suprised if she never found anyone good enough for her 'heera'. Only difference in case of A is R loves her (he may have been disinterested all along) and though she liked her too, she has (valid) reasons to not let this happen. Not even once's appu was thinking abt his mom opinion if u are taking abt her accepting his love.
