The production value sucks. Looks like a "Made for Doordarshan" film. Also has the "Socio-Political" environment working against it. Sunny Paaji messed up again after coming off 3 big successes. Aamir Khan productions is not for big scale productions & Santoshi is washed. Single digit opening loading!!

True but thats when he himself acts in them. When he's only the producer, they make small budget Niche films like Ek Din, Laapate Ladies or Happy Patel. I don't think any star has ever worked with their production house, definitely not someone in the league of Sunny. Not sure what he was thinking.

It's not just the cinematography, the trailer screams budget constraints.

Aamir is pretty hands on producer. Always wants to be in front of camera. So the fact he didnt attend this trailer launch.

So, I'm not the only one who got disappointed by the trailer.... or is it because of my small laptop-screen?

Is it usual that a producer doesn't attend a trailer launch... I generally don't watch those launches, only the respective trailer(s).

One more movie on partition

Yes, there had been already many... but to be honest, I like the play, so, initially I got interested when reading that Aamir wil make a movie on it... but making Sunny's role very close to his Gadar one (just changing the religion), his son also his film-son again, changing the title....

in short: I've not a good feeling anymore for the movie.

I don't like Sunny Deol no matter which movies he does, he keeps shouting for no reason

I'm not a fan of Sunny and only have watched few of his movies, but it's not that I dislike him.
