Ira scene feels like a set-up. She may not be going at all or will come back in just a few episodes. I have a feeling after the sunday episode where Appu will sunao her mother and rakshit, something will happen to rakshit and thats where she might realise her love to rakshit and come back to work.

Ira actually looked cute in that embrace with R,wouldn't throw away nice friendship for one love story that would never have a good end. But someone has to be the obsessed lover and complete the triangle even if story is already so messed up with characters changing ~overnight that no need to have 1 triangle.
