From the get go in 2014, state politics tried to divide people according to the dictator's/tyran's roule-book: "Divide and roule"

It took 12 years that there is a strong hope for "Unity makes Strength"... there just still lacks a believable party Indians can vote for which would stand for that in a positive way, with honesty and moral integrity...

Pradhan is an incompetent buffoon from sewers and should've resigned in 2024 itself.

That being said, over 13k students commit suicide every year. That's an alarming number. A lot of them are forced to end their lives due to parental pressure and reservations. Unless the folks are willing to address the issues faced by these 13k students as well, the current display of overwhelming concern is mere pretense.

It could very well be that your premise is wrong... Sonam was forcefully transported into a hospital and forcefully treated... even a star like Salman was brought in to plead Sonam to end the fast (which already got ended through forced medical monitoring). The minister and Sonam drinking out of a cup was for show... once his fast got forcefully interrupted, this honest man was pressurised to make this photo...

You rightly think that the protest was hijacked but you are wrong about the hijackers... this was ordered by the home minister... unemployed men and gangs (only men!) got payed to bring violence (stone throwing, e.g.), police officers got the order to display physical force, prepared officer-dummies (allegedly blessed) got put in official vans... messages to the media got prepared, etc. etc.

But okay, everybody has the right to believe the version of events which suits the own well-being...

Why would a Youth mouvement destroy its own rule of non-violence??? It would not be in their interest... but it would be very much in the interest of corrupt political leaders.

Absolutely right... and if you look up the demands the CJP has in their manifest then this is part of it... what started as a satirical retaliation to a demeaning remark of a judge about students in a short span of time became an honest mouvement by the Youth for the Youth... with the educational sector the main point (but also including a political one) and two main rules: non-violence, moral integrity.

It will be interesting, in which way the narrative will reflect the reality... maybe a new attack of the declared state-enemy will happen??? Or another 'Bollywood-scandal' or lies galore about the CJP or...
