I wish there were similar protests against the reservation system. I tried my best not to get a seat through reservation, but I had to use it because of my parents. I understand their point of view as well, because our family's income is very low now.

I was okay with reservation when it came to reducing fees, but I don't understand why seats are allotted with significantly lower marks. I will always feel guilty about getting a seat in the IT branch through reservation, especially because I have never faced caste discrimination and I don't feel I deserved the seat based on my marks.
