I think once the kids (future kid also) start school then she may be more active at work.

Deepika has like an army of people to support her. She should be the last person to say that she cannot manage.

A normal working woman doing 9-5 manages work, kids, household chores without any support of nannies, cook, etc.

Not in my perception of her performances in Pathaan, Jawan, Fighter and Kalki. Although underutilized (imo) in Fighter she got (also critical) praise for all the four roles and how she enacted them.

Dua is still 1 years old and they have another baby on the way, having one child is physically and mentally demanding, and now they will have two children under 2 yrs.

So it is completely understandable for deepika to take things a bit slow with work, and she still has two big releases coming up, so she hasn't disappeared.

At the end of the day its her choice what she wants to do, if she wants to give more time to her children and family then thats the choice she is happy with. Whatever makes her happy, thats all that matters

Deepika has always been someone who is very family oriented and always wanted to be a mother. She has barely done any substantial acting work post marriage in late 2018, barring Chhapak, Gehraiyan and Kalki. Atleast post covid she started working with other actors more actively otherwise for a while it was just with Ranveer either full fledged or in guest appearances or cameos.

Maybe a few years later when her kids are a bit more grown and she feels that love for acting renewed in her then she may but from what I have seen in the past few years, she prefers this life where her primary focus is on her family and her side business ventures, acting is also a side venture for her atp.

Also given she wanted 3 kids, who knows if health permits she may try for one more baby.

Her love for acting and performing will always be there, she hasn't stopped working, but now they are going to have 2 children under 2 years and that is demanding aswell. And who knows, they might try for another baby. It seems they want to have their kids near each other in age instead of having them with big age gaps between them. Or they might settle with just 2 kids, even though deepika has mentioned she wants three kids

Any idea when they are going to have their second child? I'm assuming deepika is in her third trimester, so it must be soon. It was easier to tell when she was pregnant with Dua as Deepika was making many appearances at that time, this time round we haven't seen Deepika as much, although she had quite a big baby bump when her and ranveer were spotted on their homes balcony
