two teams finish with the identical points and Net Run Rate (NRR), the higher spot—and playoff qualification—is decided by the following tie-breakers in order: [1, 2]

1. Total Wins: The team with the higher number of wins throughout the league or group stage advances.
2. Head-to-Head Record: If wins are also equal, officials look at the matches played between the tied teams. The team that won the majority of those head-to-head encounters qualifies.
3. Most Wickets Taken: If they are still tied, the team that took the highest total number of wickets per balls bowled throughout the tournament goes through.
4. Drawing Lots: In the extremely rare scenario that all of the above are perfectly equal, the final spot is decided by a random draw or coin toss. [1, 2, 3, 4]
