Budhhism and Jainism, came almost after 1000 years of Hinduism, so obviously Hindu culture was existing and they came and assimilated with it not the other way around, They do not accept it because accepting it will nullify their all theories

Although I don't favour the concept that Hinduism is the base of every culture in India, it belongs - since about 5K years - to the oldest still existing cultures (among them the culture of the Australian Aboriginals the oldest one with a history of about 50K years).

I am talking about India bro, not Australia, their 50K years are of no use to India, favor or not but the fact is Hinduism is the base of every culture in India, like I said do some research and you will find traces of Hinduism everywhere

Hinduism has incorporated the elements of the supposed tribal culture as you mentioned, the Vedic texts in itself has elements of the Harrapan culture that you mentioned, Hinduism was always about assimilating cultures, not the people of the book ideology with "only I am right attitude" so everything you mentioned here are covered in Hinduism

every feature as you mentioned are a part of Hinduism and hence it is the base of Indic culture

As I already wrote, there are different opinions... does it matter if it is the base or the strongest pillar? I don't think that this slight differentiation takes anything away from the deeply rooted importance of hinduism for India. smiley1

As I also wrote: in ancient times fusion did easier happen than in modern times where division has become a strong concept.

While the governor can himself dismiss the government (because as per the constitution, the government works at the will of governor) , but there is a protocol that if at all she doesnt resign, governor will ask her to prove majority and after losing that the current government is automatically dismissed

I think the sworn in will happen only next week, Rupa Ganguli (Draupadi) is a major contender I heard

Floor testing will fail and by default the governor can dismiss the current governance.

I'm not even from India but I know that the bold part is something debatable. There are different perspectives so it may depend on which of these views one favours:

They range from Hinduism (evolved out of Vedic traditions and Sanatana Dharma) being the foundational "way of life" to India being a composite, multicultural society. Undoubtedly, Hindu traditions, philosophy, and epics have deeply influenced the Indian subcontinent, still Indian culture probably is better described as a synthesis or composite of diverse traditions... quasi a 'blended' culture.

I won't dispute that Hinduism is a 'major pillar' of Indian culture for from thousands of years ago till today, but I also would not neglect the influence of tribal traditions, other 'homegrown' religions and foreign cultures (and I mean far older ones than the islamic one - there are cultures even older than the one based on Hinduism). Actually, as far as I know, Hinduism itself is a kind of fusion of the Indus-culture (religions of the Harappa culture) with that of the religions brought by the Aryans (the Vedic texts)... it's a belief system that slowly evolved through ancien times.

Modern times now tend to divide instead of fusing.

Exactly, that's why you really should refrain from talking about it.

I hope the way you are always ready to jump and comment on India and Hinduism, you were there to condemn the shit happening in WB and shit done by Islamists in the name of religion.

But guess what, you are never there but always ready to give your input on the things you aren't related to.

I just hope they don't bring in a dummy CM.

They need to bring in a strong CM, bcoz that CM has to deal with a lot of shit happening in that state from the time Left came in power back in 1977.
