There were reports of rain in parts of the city over the course of the day but the weather at the Feroz Shah Kotla is fair and should remain so. The pitch is a fresh one, it hasn't been used yet this IPL season, so let's see how it plays. Reports are it has a decent amount of runs in it.

CSK have had the worst luck with injuries this season - Ramakrishna Ghosh is the latest on the list, and they will have to find a replacement for him.
