That’s the problem. He’s never shown to be introspecting his actions. All he does is apologise with the promise of never repeating the mistake only to flip again in the next track.
I doubt the writers are ever going to show him wrong, with this track of DK falling for Mannat and then Mannat choosing to move ahead with DK will cement what he had flamed preleap that DK’s intentions were never right to begin with and Mannat fell for him!
Sadly the way these writers operate they might thrown Mannat under the bus to uplift Vikrant as opposed to genuinely showing his growth. If that were the case they would have easily taken the route of joint custody where judges normally ask leads to stay together for their kid. They could’ve shown them building trust in each other while navigating the complex web of Dua’s bond with both Vik and DK in picture.
