I think he is not Niyati's but nandini's son as Ekpaheli mentioned.

He nowhere looks like 26 yrs old...infact he looks older than his onscreen grandma Tulsi...how did Ekta even think to cast him as 26 yr old...moreover Niyati looks like his granddaughter

I dont think Tanya wud be Karan's mistress in this season, she wud be his wife. Tulsi has guroor on her parvarish and especially she is fond of Karan and knows she has instilled strong sanskaar in Karan...makers will never drown Karan in drain He will just shown as mahaan in all tracks

I HAD to login to check wtf is going on with Kyunki S2 now?! Like Aakashdeep as a (supposed) son to Hiten/Karan and Gauri/Nandani/that new female lady character?! He looked so awful. If they were so desperate to get him back somehow in order to touch upon Tulsi's trauma and encash on that track, they were a dozen ways to do so and make it more sense. I had completely forgotten about Eklavyya and I don't even remember how he was Ansh's son and with whom back in the later seasons of kyunki. Don't even remember him dying too at Tulsi's hand.

Laana hi tha toh ussi character ko revamp kar dete that he survived somehow, went into hiding, built a new life and is back now. This Riyansh/Rio is now Ansh's son too, woh bhi pata nahi Nandini se aur someone else altogether or this new female character whose name I can't seem to recall. Again, I repeat, at least some good deaging technology should have been used in order to sell this nonsense.
