Oh I know this happens. I have seen it myself but here the situation is ridiculous because in her youth Mandira refused to move on from Mihir and ruined so many lives as well as TuHir’s marriage for her stubbornness and selfishness.

In her older age, she didn’t just lose her identity so to speak, she married TWICE, to two different men, even if they were both utilitarian husbands than men she loved.

Had she been married to someone else in her youth, so much heartache could have been avoided not to mention that perhaps she might have found genuine love and happiness within her marriage itself. Anupam wouldn’t have just married off his sister to any random man to get rid of her. He would have tried to find her the best possible man for a husband and a good family as well.

We have no idea about Niyati yet. What her background is, who she is, how Karan knows her and why he entrusted her with raising Ansh’s son and is playing house with her. What sorta family she’s from etc. What we do know is that she doesn’t have any connection with the Virani family yet. She didn’t seem to recognise or know Tulsi. Rio obviously has no idea about Karan’s family. So he’s an outsider and the oddity.
