It amazes me how Prerna would neglect her own small kid Prem for bajaj grown up kids. 2 of them weren't even kids but proper adults. Prerna was superficial character. Shweta acting and beauty was the only saving grace for the show.

They should have shown Anurag truly moving on and finding a true love who would be only his in all manner.

I wish Anurag had moved on, but everyone who was with him turned out to be a villain and would try killing him. Ekta didn’t even spare Sam who was like completely sane for decades. Anurag too had flaws, but because bajaj was so evil and Prena was such a red flag, he looked better in comparison. Besides he suffered all his life after his 20s. Ekta didn’t want him to be happy.

I loved Prena in childhood, but I didn’t know she was such a big red flag as I watched the show from the middle when AnuPrena were already separated. I fell for her tears. I used to feel so bad for her as a mom. Shweta acted so well. The best as a mom. That’s why I think many may have also fallen in love with her or thought she was okay because they didn’t know the whole show/story or because they didn’t have access to internet to vent out their frustration. But now she is getting so much hate in recent years in the era of social media. Such fl can’t work now. No wonder ekta had to change the whole character of Prena in s2

My point is if they can't keep up with the story then don't try to make it a progressive show from beginning. As for anupama, this is what happens when show gets trps and keeps being on top. It then turns stupid because channel/ph don’t want to shut it down. In the end, it just destroys the show. Only few high trps shows/gens have managed to get out of this curse

Also, practically, yeah, Anurag should’ve moved on, but we loved AnuPrena. I did kinda root for Aparna Anurag in childhood because I was tired of Prena, but again that’s because I was frustrated seeing bajaj Prena. I still loved AnuPrena the most. So prena was a big red flag, but what could we do. We still loved AnuPrena 😥 that show hurt us a lot. My first intro to shows/tv and it had to be KZK out of all. I blame Ekta

I watched Queen of the south on Netflix. It was about mafia and all. I loved it. I loved the lead actress and was happy with the ending they gave to the show. Didn’t want a bad ending

The other show I watched that Dirilis Ertugrul. Got the GOT vibes I liked it too like your sister but I didnt like the last season. What I really liked about the show is that they didnt show any intimate scenes. Wheras as the other Ottoman show, Magnificent Century (which I was very addicted to) has full of such scenes. But I kinda preferred Magnificent Century cause of the glamour. Those are completely different era. People were much more different back then.

As much as I love these show , but yeah if you think about them in today’s world perspective you wont like the characters and the pairs as much, but it was the norm back then. Like in Ertugrul, my fav character is his best friend Turgut cause like how complex his character is, but I always hated how he treated his second wife the one he married after his first wife died. Like he got the title and power cause of his second wife but then tells her she had no rights to interfere politically?!

And then in Magnficient Century all the Sultanas and Sehzades forget about today’s era they were a red flag in those era too 💀 I think apart from Hurrem’s 1st son and to some extent Kosem’s husband, the way they treat ladies was ragebait!

Like executing your son and grandsons I will never ever defend that!!! What I Why the grandsons, they didnt do anything! Some were babies. No matter how much Ottoman Empire is glorified whoever brought this execution rule, brought its doom! Then the execution rule was removed cause of Kosem or her husband, but they will lock the other potential successors till the current Sultan dies. In the Kosem series they showed how the successor like Mustafa went crazy cause of being locked for so many years. It was very dark!

This Saher show is crazy. They wanted to get brownie points for somehow bringing a social message about child marriage but then also show romance between a child and an adult. Wanted to ride both boats. If this show keep on getting 1 or less than 1 trps, then I don’t see how it can run for long especially with all the off screen drama going on.

I actually thought initially the show would be about mother supporting the daughter to be a doctor, I didnt even know it was Kizli Goncalar’s remake till I saw online. My mom watches Seher regularly, honestly I watched the first time I didnt like it cause there are many negative characters, but later I liked the scene where Mahid cried for his mother and when he met Seher in the library , I thought those scenes were well-handled and subtle so I gave it a try. I wasnt aware Seher was 16 till they mentioned in one episode. I was like wait wasnt she suppose to study medical according to the promo so she should be like 19 to 21?!

Most of the time I watch this show, I am like why make her 16 in 2026?! She doesn’t look 16!! This show actually has some really beautifully written scenes and characters but the main concept itself is problematic 😑. The intention of makers was to always focus on the romance aspect, the leads made it clear too.

As for Anupama I never liked that show. All she does is cry and do melodrama. And apart from the middle child(who was killed off) all her kids are very irritating.

yeah childhood mein toh aisa tha kuch bhi ho jaye but at the end we want Anupre and we would be happy. But in today's er Prerna jaise characters pasand is almost impossible for me. Mehendi hai rachne wali show meiin Raghav was drugged and the vamp showed it like they slept together like the Noyona Mihir track in Kyonki. It was revealed in ending episodes that nothing happened between them and it was vamp sazish. Even though I liked the characters and actors but till the time truth wasn't revealed I was like they shouldn't be together. All this pyar and shadi ki kasme is bekar if someone has to cheat. Jab main Prerna ka sochti hu ki how she got involved with Bajaj both emotionally and physically while Show was trying to gaslight us that she only loved Anurag then uske aage mujhe yeh aaj kal ke characters saint lagte hai.
