See at the end of the day the decision has to be Saloni's, because she has rights on the business of her parents, not her husband so she is the decision maker.
(I am not liking the fact that makers are making all Ghar Jamais are useless or blood suckers like RV and now Dev, this show if talks about 21st century, we shall showcase the rights of daughters in paternal property as per Hindu succession act and that if a man decides to raise a family while his wife taking monitory responsibilities then that doesn't make him wrong in anyway, but that is a different topic)
But if they are saying that Dev is not doing anything, what exactly is Saloni doing? She doesn't work in factory like Vaishnavi or Tulsi, doesn't have a job like Munni, doesn't get into household work (at least not shown till now) like Tulsi, Munni, Nandani or even daughters of this family like Pari and Shobha. But somehow Saloni is not questioned but Dev is.. Is it because that we cant accept a non working/earning male?
I did not say that Saloni is wrong, but I think Dev is not wrong here to say that he wants to get into the business where he might get more share. Completely true that he isnt doing it to actually work and expand the business there, but only to lay down, and if Saloni brings up this point that this is my family business and I think you would spoil the legacy so either start from basics or dont think of it, or even that my brother has worked in and out to make this business reach where it is and I dont want to claim my inheritance from there because it is his hard work, then I would be completely OK. Even as of now I am not saying there is anything wrong in her decision, she has complete rights to do whatever she wants from her inheritance (not even hers as of now), but I want to say that at the end of the day husband wife are a unit, they make decisions together and obviously people have disagreements and each wants to convince the other.
I was actually saying about Parth, he didnt have the right to enter into a husband wife heated discussion. Unless asked for, never get in between husband and wife because that only makes the situation more tense. Fine he felt Dev was wrong, talk to him separately but getting into an argument of husband wife is completely uncalled for
Parth interfering can be considered wrong but I think he meant well. He probably has been annoyed at Dev’s laziness and didn’t think before he jumped the gun.
Regarding Dev Saloni. I think we haven’t seen enough of Saloni to know exactly what she’s doing. Yes, we know she’s at home but remember we know she was studying and she had her exams around the time of her wedding. She may be trying to figure out her life especially given that she’s newly married and she’s young enough to have some time to figure her life out. As it is post marriage she’s hardly been at SN - it’s either her honeymoon or Surat.
If she wants to be a homemaker then it’s her choice. If Dev doesn’t want to work similarly, it’s his choice. But his decision to go to Surat is about getting a larger share of inheritance which he clearly has no rights to unless Saloni is willing to entrust him, and he’s failed to win her confidence. The failure isn’t even owing to his inability to convince her despite his best intentions and attempts. It’s because he’s making no attempts at all. He’s simply demanding something that he automatically assumes is his right as her husband. Yes, a couple is supposed to be a unit but when you demand a share you can’t expect to get it by virtue of being married alone to your spouse.
Dev thinks his demand is reasonable, but has he considered that his inlaws will probably not like the idea given that they’re very traditional? What about the embarrassment he would cause his own family?
Fine, he thinks he’s going to be one of the many in line when it comes to inheritance, but haven’t we seen Gautam and Karan doing their own thing already? Gautam’s whole arc is about him losing money repeatedly and that affecting him and all his relationships by extension. How he came to realise money is not everything and above family, as well as forging his identity away from the Virani industries as a lawyer rather than as a corporate head honcho.
Karan has likely started his own business and is running it successfully, separate from the Virani Industries as an entity though we’re not yet told what kind of business he’s running as far as I remember.
Dev has no compulsion to run the family business and be a small fish in an ocean. If he’s so inclined to have a larger share than the rest of his cousins, he could ask his elders to bankroll his own startup that he wants to establish as a separate entity from the Viranis. Not like anyone would mind it either given that there are clear precedents in the family regarding the same.
Dev however clearly doesn’t want just more money, he wants quick and easy money. He says he wants to be rich without working for it and before he gets old. He doesn’t have any regards or respect for the share he will inherit because apparently, it’s too little. But he has his eyes on Saloni’s share because it’s much larger and already there, which he can access without having to work or wait for it. He uses the term diamond king.. because he wants to go sit on a throne like chair without having to work for it, thinking just like a prince is entitled to his throne by virtue of his birth alone, his merits and abilities have no bearing to the same; so is the case with him marrying the princess of the diamond king’s family. He can get her throne and rule.
Dev asking Saloni to help him with his career by asking her family to train him and help him learn how the diamond industry works would have been a completely different story. She would have been supportive and understood his decision, helped him as much as she could and probably joined the business as a partner, legally as well. Her family wouldn’t have denied either because they would have seen Dev asking help to establish himself in an industry where they’re experts and experienced, while he’s a novice with enthusiasm and passion, but not enough knowledge or guidance in the field. Even the Viranis would have been proud and understanding of Dev shifting to Surat to follow his passion, while there would have been no shame involved whatsoever for anyone as this would have been seen as family helping family; elders guiding and teaching their younger generation. None of this would have come across as selfish entitlement or worse, freeloading behaviour.
Saloni didn't pretend to be working woman. She was ghar ki beti intended to be married and she had same dream, that's why she fell for dev so quickly
Chameleon dev pretended since day 1 he's hard working guy and saloni was drawn to it and said repeatedly she liked someone working hard. Now dev showed true colors. He wants to bea ghar jamai not to handle business but to live on luxury
When he's not working for virani industry which is his own family business why would he work in jewellery, saloni knows it
Also since parth isn't calling saloni bhabhi felt a bit like they can show triangle of dev saloni parth
Hmm… could still be him given that hairdo.

Yes, kyunki 1 had so many plastic surgeries... they are repeating the old plots... they can repeat this too!
I only found about those scenes because few months back I went back to rewatch TuHir’s anniversary episodes as I was annoyed to see post leap separation. I wanted to see something happy, but there I found Ajay and was so surprised he was introduced so early in the show and was already crazy about Pari. So recently I again went back to see those scenes to see how he fell in love with herOriginally posted by: Me_Harini
I think you are right ..I dont recall any one these scenes...so all in all this man Ajay was liking pari from beginning and now his liking has made him simp for Pari who literally made his family go through hell
No self respect too...kya hi aadmi hai ye...I should go and rewatch these scenes

That man Ajay is seriously suffering from Stockholm syndrome. Makers shud just get them married and start new Kalesh of Pari with Indira ben
ajay will notice pari laughing with aryan and assume she moved on or he'll make her jealous...lol ajay's fiance should just leave him for her betterment lol
pari did do mistake unintentionally this time but why didn't she ask when she did see there were more than one red tablets to be administered to sunny lol?
ajay's sister being vilified can come later and she was selfish but pari was also at fault for not clarifying in the first go lol..
karan addressing mihir as his father just felt like a chuckling moment only lol
Just a question, did they send Munni and Ritik to Jamshedpur so they are in now KRBRBH?
Was that mentioned in any of the last few Kyunki episodes?
