He probably might have not gone. Recovering from a knee strain, maybe they didn't want him to travel much. Plus you see him the in the nets, so he's probably training.

But here I am. And this is nice. But the times he was in was something else. The effervescent reliance on the fact that Dhoni can magically change any circumstance in our favour is gone. Now these boys are trying to fight tooth and nail. Because there'll be no divine like intervention and things will fall into their hands just like that.

That man is an emotion and he sometimes plays with it. Had he not, he would have had given us proper closures. For the last 6 years I'm trying to grapple with the fact that the cricket fraternity did nothing to give this man a proper sendoff.
