Yep, the announcement said they’ll consider views from all the streaming platforms as in JioHotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5 and whatever other streaming platforms as applicable. Not sure about YT.

No, afaik they'll release TRPs as usual till this new system is incorporated. If they are not releasing TRPs then wouldn't it be a loss to all the channels ?
