After multiple watches, I think last scene was indication of Jaskirat choosing to continue his work as a spy

There was a scene before that with Ajay Sanyal and their conversation was muted then while Sanyal is having breakfast, he is told "Asset is on the loose" means Jaskirat was still employed by them

Jaskirat didn't tell them and left to see his family but he controlled himself and screen goes "Balidan Parmo Dharma"

He sacrificed his family again for his duty

Yep, he is. And what makes his leading man hotter is how he’s also one. We see that in a single scene with no dialogues from him! Strange example perhaps for what I felt was the peak definition of that was when we watch Yami making her cameo.

We don’t know at the time that Hamza will be dropping by to cross off another name on his list; but he sees Yami’s Shazia has beaten him to it. We know that he has caught onto her, he watched her inject that red thing into his saline/glucose bag and is aware she’s on his real team. Man doesn’t do a thing - watches quietly as he leans against the doorframe and looks on. When she leaves the room, they exchange a look. Next we see the montage of the dead body of that terrorist with his real name and the organisation he’s associated with flashing onto the screen.

We know he’s sending those to Sanyal; he really just stood there watched the show and even though it wasn’t his hit he sent that pic. You know he’s proud of watching a fellow patriot in action and admired the show.

Honestly, that one glimpse of them was so good I would absolutely love to see them cast opposite each other in a movie. Like Sara, Yami is a bit shorter than him and petite. The height difference is perfect and they’ll look good together.

Yep, we know that the movie has ended sometime after the demonetisation. Let’s say that the events take place in 2017/8 roughly.

Canada accused us of sending spies to their land and killing innocent plumbers there not 2 years ago. Hamza tells Yalina before he’s leaving to meet Iqbal that they leave for Vancouver after he gets back from this trip.

The movie ends with him donning a Sikh look. We know he hails from an actual Sikh family in Pathankot and the nexus of the ISI Khalistanis was briefly touched upon here in the second part not just their drugs issue.

It’s very much possible that Sanyal sends Jaskirat to Canada under a new name with a new identity for his next mission. He could still be a Sikh in the next one or he may not. We will see if D3 is ever made say a couple of years down the line.

The fact that Jaskirat is very much alive and it’s an open ended ending of the story tells us that it’s possible. Yalina may just end up being in Vancouver as she certainly knows he’s alive, her father also has the resources to easily fly her off there with Zayan. She may decide to go there with the hopes that he may make it to Vancouver as he told her they would go there and also to get her son away from Pakistan. Omar is no longer a threat to her and her son perhaps courtesy of the ISI chief sending him to an asylum, but it doesn’t mean that they’re gonna be safe regardless of his dismissal in the future. So she may ask her father to arrange for her to move to Canada with her son for their safety, security and her peace of mind. She also wanted to be a doctor, so she may pursue her studies there again and bump into her husband there again.

What would remain to be seen if such a thing happens are the circumstances that they meet again in as well as their relationship status at the time. Jaskirat may have to have a wife again; she could be another woman he had to marry for the sake of cover or even another agent just posing as his wife for their mission. Likewise Yalina maybe asked by her parents to remarry again. Depending on the number of years that have passed by their son maybe in his teens or close to being an adult too. If they really do marry other people there might be kids from those spouses in the picture as well.

We need unknown men to escalate whatever they’re doing in Canada, US, UK so that Dhar can have enough material for D3 and perhaps even D4 a couple of years later

I thought they both were in cahoots there..Because he didn't look surprised at all?

@Bold: hahaha, I thought I am the only romantic looking around with hawk eyes for chemistry...I first saw them together during her movie release ( I think Dhoom Dhaam or something, which was very good BTW) which Ranveer also attended and thought they both would look good...In the movie, in that short glimpse of them together, its confirmed that they will look lovely together...

In fact Aditya Paul (the guy who played Omar) was saying because Aditya doesn't insert any scenes without any reason, he senses D3 the way he chose to end the movie- if not immediately sometime in the future...May be we will get to see Jaskirat donning the invisible cape yet again...and may be my fan fiction of him bumping into Yalina will come true...

No, I don’t think they knew each other. We would’ve have had at least a single nod or something between them to acknowledge that they know each other. They simply share a look and leave. It’s like she’s sized him up too and gets that he’s on her side. You see her, there’s no fear, urgency or any hesitation of any kind on her face or in her body language. Woman is cool as a cucumber as she’s walking away and that silent moment of them just making that eye contact is all we see. He doesn’t mind that he didn’t get to do the job - all that mattered was the job was done. Also, it showed that there are women operatives in the field who can do the same job but obviously their physical prowess is not gonna work for them to infiltrate a gang. They do these silent hit jobs.

Man, I tell you, I wish Dhar had included the scene of a Lashkar or Jaish guy who was a target of unknown men/women. He walked out of a mosque and walked like a few steps and collapsed. His death was instant and no one knew what had happened. Media then reported that traces of some rare poison were found on the inside of his slippers. The poison was so deadly that once it’s absorbed into the system via the soles via the skin, death is guaranteed. So an agent may as well be working at a slipper factory or a shoe outlet or as a random cobbler!
