There were several scenes that showed the love Armaan still and always has for Abhira though he tries to bury the emotions. That look of longing when he sees her be it during Holi or during Gangaur, Rohit portrayed it beautifully with his eyes.. We also saw Armaan standing up for Abhira against Vidya when she was insulting her character. The pretend phase in front of Bua ji also gave several nok jhok moments between Armaan and Abhira like the poem recital😀 or finding the ring. We also saw how Armaan instinctively protected Abhira when the cupboard was about to fall on her and blurted out his feelings I love you, damn it.
We also saw Armaan as the deeply caring father to Maira. He was extremely upset when he had to hide the truth from Maira and ask her not to come to Aryan's marriage functions. When Maira ran away from the engagement function, he didn't stop until he chased and finally climbed into the moving truck. Armaan was heart broken seeing how upset and hurt Maira was. And finally when he met Maira in hostel he started with heartfelt Sorry. Rohit showcased all these emotions beautifully that make you really connect to Armaan as a father.
