Wait I don’t know actually as I just remembered UKA has 9pm slot. I think 9pm slot for Shabir Sriti’s show isn’t confirmed yet as starplus hasn’t posted about that. May it will get 8pm or 7:30pm slot as the shows there are flop and will shut down soon. Anyway idc about all that. I just want this spin off to be separate from Kyunki. They should stop adding the spin off to Kyunki’s episode. Also give Kyunki’s time slot to Kyunki only

Crazy considering we had a 40 minute episode today and the app doesn’t have a new show listed as a different entity. If they’re doing this it’s for TV only but even then it makes no sense if it’s just for a track that won’t last beyond a few days, weeks at most. The show hasn’t been promoted and just went on air which is just wild.

I remember during YHM days, Gul’s horrible show Ishqbaaz aired on the channel and a spinoff was announced with one of the brothers - the dude had long hair and was paired with Shrenu Parekh. Their show shut down really quickly but before it went on air they did a proper promotional campaign and announced it as a different show meant to be a surprise gift for the fans. But this just popped up today out of nowhere… it’s weird.

Yeah Udne ki aasha used to be number one and always getting 2 above trps but after its duration increased and trp was calculated for two slots then its trp started decreasing and it never recovered. The same tactic is being used for kyonki now. Increased duration decreases the audience retention. Tulsi part from 10.28 will get the usual viewers but Vridang aren't interesting . They will drag down the average trp

they should count different show wise bt its only 10 mins as of now, need to be more to be separated

Yep, can’t remember since it’s been years but I think the show ended in less than 3 months because of low ratings since it primarily focused on only one couple with plenty of new characters but they were always popular as an ensemble.

I understand this and yeah but there’s not enough material for a long show here tbh. I think frankly they don’t have anything for the post Kyunki slot atm and so this might be a filler of sorts until they can announce the next show which can take the slot.

I understand but Ishqbaaz spinoff was announced at least 2 or so months before it went on air officially and then ironically it barely lasted 2 months. Here they’re airing the spinoff already and are announcing it later so seems like a stopgap arrangement to me for the time being until a new show can be announced to take over the slot.

These two don’t have the star power to get ratings even when they got main focus in the OG show’s second season, they are hardly gonna last long even as a new show’s main leads which has them away from the other Viranis where they can redo their one tone trip, fall, catch, stare, music romance.
