Karan doesn't want to separate , it's nandini who wants it .It seems like nandini has some kind of misundertstanding .

rather akshay and madhavi,angad,pari,dev who were raised in India are misbehaving or ended up in trouble.

Its not about the place but about character and parenting.KN did a good job with raising the trio.

Either they are doing this to bring tuhir back or their opinions are clashing or something is wrong.Karan is kind of right that he cannot uproot his whole business and come back to india,If Nandini wanted to be in India she should have not moved in first place.I am not pro india or pro usa but lets take this practically,we have not seen any problems in KN kids,honestly writers have not worked on KN and Kids.We never got a proper Family dynamics scene.KN have chemistry but even with samaira ive found the parent and kid dynamics now.KN and Samaira seem family but Parth seems like a stranger who is placed in KN's family.

Nandini is more homely and family oriented,as I have observed from her scenes.She needs to be a bit practical its not easy to relocate from one country to another after building your whole life.Karan worked hard for his business and any person who has worked hard for something wouldnt let it go easily.

Nandini needs to listen Karan's side and vice versa so they can solve this issue.Her sanskaar arguement feels weak.

karan is right that since his business is flourishing well, then it takes time to close down the business, otherwise, no clue why nandini is so hellbent on deciding to move back to india.

so if thats the case, then gomzi tells tulsi to return to SN as per the repeating precap so are gomzi and karan planning to unite tulsi and mihir? unless woh alag matter h?

As for karan-nandini's family dynamic , this is the first time they are getting screen time, previously they were just treated as guest characters who would fade away after a few scenes. So let's see may be in the upcoming episodes we will get to see the full family dynamic and the bond between karan-nandini , samaira and parth.

From what I remember the sequence was:

Tulsi-Mihir give their first born to Kiran-Arti cause they cannot have a child of their own.

He returns to India years later as a total brat, calls himself Gomzi with a deep resentment towards Viranis to the extent that he terrorises Shobha at college in the name of ragging. Saahil is shown to return from abroad to join the family business. (On the sidelines, talking of age, in a friendly banter Shobha even asks Saahil to call her Di) He even accompanies her to college to protect her from getting bullied and even has an exchange with Gautam.

Tulsi "reforms" Gomzi to Gautam and is welcome at Shantiniketan. However, Saahil and Gautam have the typical sibling rivalry because by then Saahil has been involved in the family business and is the "ideal son" where as Gautam is trying to "fit-in" the family as much as get involved in the family business.

In one such instance, Karan (who is wanting revenge from Viranis for how his mother was treated) enters Viranis' life as Saahil's (and Ganga's) friend and cashes on the sibling rivalry to create misunderstandings.

He partners with Viranis with a company if his own "Mandira something" (which he later shuts down)

It is during this time that Karan and Gautam develop a huge rivalry/animosity. Each wanting a revenge of their own leading to Gautam either having to call a truce or being blamed. (Make no mistake, he wasn't flawless, he was, like the others, flawed)

Karan comes to know of his mother's truth and that is when he reforms. Infact, if i remember right, Amba and Gautam go to Karan to persuade him to accept them as family and shift to Shantiniketan as the son of the house. He starts calling Gautam "bade bhai".

Infact, it is the duo (Gautam-Karan) who discover Ansh's identity. Saahil starts feeling left out at that point. Then with Karan becoming the GOD sent child, both Gautam and Saahil feel like second class citizens.

So, Gautam was never the "apple" of anyone's eyes, atleast till this point. Iske baad Ansh wala track kabhi follow nahin kiya except the episode where Tulsi shoots him because that was the talk of the town.

Timelines is highly messed here. Yes you are right when Gautam returned he was a spoiled brat and very disrespectful. He had even beaten Sahil. Later when family recognise him they bring him home but they were over cautious on him since they thought he needs a huge redemption, so he was always kept a track on. Later Tulsi met Ganga and thought she was a perfect match for Gautam. She fixed the alliance though Gautam loved Teesha. Gautam wanted to deny but then he realised that family had brought a clause that he could inherit only when he marries Ganga. He therefore marries Ganga while continues his EMA with Teesha. Meanwhile Kabir and Kamya (who as we got to know later were friends of Karan and were planted in by him to sabotage) ensured that Ganga sees Gautam and Teesha together. That makes Ganga furious and she leaves the house. Tulsi and other family members scold Gautam and he leaves. Till this time there was a huge issue between Gautam and family (but till this time Karan wasnt introduced)

Later Gautam hits Sahil's younger brother Tarun due to some misunderstanding when he was hospitalized. It was at this time Karan was introduced as Sahil's friend.

He then also meets Ganga and realizes that Sahil and Ganga Love each other but they are yet to realise their feelings. He as their friend becomes detrimental to get them confess. Later he meets Tulsi and convinces her for this alliance. It was during this meeting, he shifted from addressing Tulsi as Aunty to Badi Ma. No one including Tulsi took it seriously back then, they thought that he is doing so because he is Sahil's friend and Sahil addresses Tulsi as Badi Ma.

Parallely Teesha's parents ask her to marry her someone else as they had a huge loss in business. Teesha to support her parents agrees. Gautam also wanted to help, so he decided to continue his marriage with Ganga so that he could get his inheritance and help Teesha's parents.

Tulsi gets confused. Karan gets Teesha's number and asks Ganga to speak to her directly and make her convince Gautam to not force continue this loveless marriage. Ganga calls Teesha to India. Teesha scolds Gautam to be selfish who couldn't wait for her and leaves in anger.

Then Gautam breaks. Tulsi and Gautam have a heartfelt conversation and she realises her mistake. She accompanies Gautam to Australia to woo back Teesha(where she saw Madira and Mihir together but that's another topic)

Once back to India Karan had done forgery in company and got 33% shares to his name and self nominated himself as board member, so the entire group including Sahil were against him. Gautam scolds Sahil for bringing Karan and letting him backstab them. Family supports him.

After this point Gautam became the apple of the family's eyes. In absence of Mihir (who was out once his cheating came in public) in office too he became central figure. In house too everyone took him as the central person. He remained so till Karan entered Shanti Niketan at least a year later
