As for BJP vs Congress thing, I believe it took the Ram Mandir movement and especially the collapse of Babri to take them seriously. Until then they probably didn’t give them much thought and felt they were petty rivals who could be handled easily any time. What they achieved was no small thing. Plus they always had the backing of the RSS which is a widespread, disciplined and most importantly a volunteer organisation that was working nonstop. They knew a well oiled machine when they saw one and knew it might take time but post Babri they were a threat to the Congress and particularly the fake Gandhis at the helm in power.

Vajpayee and Advani were the prelude who couldn’t do much but they did accomplish the nuclear tests that India was delaying for decades in their short duration at Centre. The main picture is obviously now with Modi Shah. We now openly have statements from so many former senior Congress members who have left the party that when they saw Rahul as their leader, they could hear the clock ticking, they tried to avoid or delay the inevitable but you can’t compete with natural stupidity no matter how intelligent you are.

Mark Twain has famously said after all, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

She deserved it, but this is entirely a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Mihir has wronged Tulsi too many times and taken advantage of her nature. Yet he placed the entire blame on Noyna as if he were the victim in all of this.

“Sirf nashe mein tha” — I rolled my eyes at that line. Sirf? Seriously? Why the heck were you even in the company of a woman — a friend, at that — after getting drunk? If Tulsi had acted the same way, would it have been acceptable?

He kept saying, “You ruined my house. You were the reason for our divorce. You drove Tulsi out of her home,” blah blah. But even now, he doesn’t realize that it was a seed he himself had planted. He let someone else come between them. In fact, there have been many “someones” between them.

This feels like the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood crying for help after wreaking all the havoc. I’m not negating the fact that what she did was wrong, but why is she the only one being held accountable for what happened?
