@242 runs Surya is the 9 th highest run scorer of this World Cup and second highest from India, only Ishaan is ahead of him by 20 runs. Plus he is taking us to the finals...His bowling decisions and fielding placements were good in the entire tournament, not the best but definitely good...I have no idea what else we expect of him.
yeah, we have ipl, see which Indian player is doing well (consistently) and which player is doing a good job as a captain, not just winning the games but leading with clarity in the losses as well, then make him the temporary captain to see if he can do the same with some of the world class and young players with less experience and much potential and then give him the chances to lead the team in bilateral series before giving him a captainship of big tournament, they can do many things apart from choosing the captain from the list of players worshipped by teenagers or who has the most fan following, cricket is a game, let it be that instead of turning it into fanwar or galmour industry, we can leave this part for IPL and let international matches purely be guided by the merit and the spirit of the game

Hit atleast 30 runs in the middle is what people expect of him..his best came against USA alone
Surya is a great guy but sometimes he sucks as a captain. Maybe it’s because he hasn’t had much experience, but bro definitely needs to take better calls in clutch situations.

Agree to disagree. He could have managed to do without giving the ball to Varun for completing his over. Varun gave 64 runs. Do you think Rohit/Virat/Mahi would have gone with him knowing he’s leaking runs ?
