In Jhanak, 'what worked for him' me agar 70% uska individual contribution tha, to 30% Hiba ka bhi contribution tha...yeha pe the girl doesn't have the spark... Krushal me bhi spark nahi nazar ayi mujhe...personal pov though..

Aise supernatural shows ki ak hi baat mujhe pasand nahi aati...cheap vfx...uspe thoda kaam karle to such shows enjoy dedicated viewership.. I am more hopeful about this show than that of Krushal's..

She did? I was never impressed by the intro promo of Jhanak . Just my opinion

Kanika wasn't even that good as Suman in Edkv 2...

She was better as school girl as it suited her...

This character is completely out of zone...she has this inherent sophistication and attitude(not in a negetive way) inside her that she just can't shed off to play these kind of characters...

Kanika is a very average actress but she's sort of gotten a cult FD because of EDKV2 and her pairing with Mohit in that show.....usi ke basis pe isko mass recognition mila jo bhi hai on TV as an actor warna other than that she's mainly just done ads or some random web series - none of which had any great success.

As you said, uska body language naturally sophisticated and modern girl wala hi hai isliye she's looking artificial trying to play maasoom bechari naive naukraani in Leena show

Then again, Riya is pathetic as gawaar Jhanak too but she seems to be supremely happy playing that role....lol yeh Kanika bhi naukrani play karke giddy ho jayegi.....anything for a lead role on an SP show I guess

Chemistry tak toh jaane ka point hi nahin hai....that is not even required on ITV aajkal.....lol koi bhi random song sequence daal do leads pe and kahin se bhi random bots sprout ho jaate hain to hype it as great chemistry/best chemistry ....it's all about the marketing now, not any real content. And even the marketing is super lazy aajkal.....they are fully counting on the audience to have blobs for brains and not bothering with any expectation of coherence
