It’s not about that.
Ansh can be shown as vile and monstrous openly and he’s believable as a vile rapist. He’s a man who could overpower a woman.
He was openly sexually harassing her even before he started staying as a Virani in SN. His obsession with her was entirely based on his urge to have her in his bed even if one time. Had she been willing to take money from him and give him one night in bed with her, as he tried to get her to do, he wouldn’t have even remembered her after that night. She would have been flushed out of his system entirely once he got what he wanted.
Her denial was that thing that fuelled his desire even more as he wasn’t used to it.
You could be very open about him - that he has no love for the woman, the person that Nandini is - her body is his only desire.
Noina can’t be shown overpowering Mihir. Not like Ansh overpowered Nandini. Female sexuality is still not something that is explored on TV explicitly, if at all. Women are not shown as purely physical creatures who can have only lust as their motivations too.
Even if Mihir were to come out and say that he was assaulted by Noina when he was under the influence of roofies/alcohol; then too; owing to his gender this would be an extremely uncomfortable thing for him to admit, to say he was vulnerable as men can’t easily express themselves as such. Not to mention, his trust in Noina would also be questioned, he would also be laughed at as who would believe that he was taken advantage of by a petite woman like her?
His behaviour would be questioned. Why did he not pay attention to Noina’s behaviour around him? How did he not pick up her feelings for him? Was he warned about her? If so, by whom, when, why and how many times by how many people? Why did he ignore those warnings?
Above all, his own history of having once cheated on Tulsi and claiming that he didn’t mean for anything to happen but ending up fathering a son on another woman will be in the way and go against him. Who will believe that two different women, decades apart pulled the same trick on him in a way and he fell into their traps both times?
Nandini was told that you were married to this man, ergo regardless of your experience with him, even if you were violated by him, you can’t expect for him to be punished as legally he’s your husband and in the eyes of the law, you two consummated your marriage whether it happened against your will or with it is irrelevant to us as we have nothing in black and white in print for it. A situation such as yours is not in our books therefore at most we can grant you a divorce but nothing more, above and beyond it.
Mihir will be told - fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
