In the entire season, Jhanak was tortured, humiliated, and never shown to be independently successful. Anirudh, who was blindly in love with Jhanak, married her six years later. They found out they were having a baby, but he denied it, claiming it was someone else's and again forgot their intimate moments with Jhanak for the second time. However, in Arshi's case, he didn't react the same way and accepted that it was his drunken mistake. The story ends there after 1.5 years, and now both of Ani's daughters, one with Jhanak and one with Arshi, are experiencing the same story in season 2.
