Thats why I was repeatedly saying Viks Indore behaviour cannot be defended... it does not automatically mean DK is great... but given the circumstances Vik is not presenting an ideal picture either. So how was Mannat wrong if she thinks DK is a good guy? My comments were taken in wrong spirit... 🙄

And no... even though I dont mind DK... I am not okay with the flip.... they could have elevated Vik without pulling DK down... all of this would have still worked as it is without making DK have feelings. Now it just muddies everything.

Some X people have rightly pointed how confused Vik looks... to Vishwas he says I am married yet flaunts a GF, to DK he says you took my wife away... but refuses to give her the money which she needs... questions her need while living off and showing off the power that comes with the money which is not even his to begin with!!!! 🤦‍♀️

Sorry but in my eyes now, even Vikrant is a gold digger.

He demanded money & property to release Neetu AND took Mannat’s share & then threw them all out. So how is he any better than the skimpily dressed naagins living with him??

Discussion about the show in GCs has almost dried up.

I know all of us are frustrated with how the narrative is being set through the characters and how the story is not moving forward at all. I watched today’s episode and this what i feel about Vik post-leap that he has started believing his own version of truth. The people he is currently living with neither show him the mirror nor help him reflect; instead they manipulate him through a child who holds a very special position in his life because he believes he has given him life again. This point is deliberately reiterated again and again. We want to see him show affection towards Dua but the irony is that he doesn’t even know Mannat was pregnant when they parted ways. Now, when morally upright people try to show him the mirror and make him realise his mistakes, he is simply unable to accept it. This is not the Vik we knew years ago. Betrayal, half-truths, and trusting the wrong people have shaped him into someone who is confused, lacks logical thinking, and most importantly has lost emotional depth and empathy. His reaction today was completely over the top and the trigger was DK, whom he met sometime back to find Yuvi. If Vikrant had no empathy left, he wouldn’t have gone to DK for help despite knowing the kind of equation they share. His priorities revolve only around Yuvi, which is why the vamp brigade doesn’t want to lose that key. Today’s BTS showed how Malla and Y fighting among themselves while simultaneously putting up a facade of love in front of Yuvi. The difference is that all the other characters grew because they fought battles together and held each other’s hands whereas Vik suffered alone. That isolation is the reason he is stuck mentally and emotionally unable to move forward. His harsh reactions towards Dua stem from the fact that he doesn’t see her as his child but as DK’s, and blaming others becomes an easy escape route for him. His inability to face harsh realities about himself is another form of avoidance and unless the part of truth comes out, mere reflection won’t be enough to change his thought process. The writers keep rewriting Vik using him as bait for many characters in the story. Our experiences either make us or break us and in his case, they have broken almost everything. Still, I believe he will rise from the ashes. The process may be slow but Vik will return. This series of incidents will eventually make him understand what he lost and why he lost it. Once, he asked Mannat to be the anchor of his life; now, destiny is putting him through every possible test to make him his own anchor. More than redemption he needs to stand up for himself and stop being played by the people around him. He is carrying so much negativity that it has completely destroyed his thinking process and make him frustrated person who has no love around him.

Correct ad revenues is a target but TRP is a “metric” that defines the target.

TRP is not the ONLY indicator but a very important one.

Obviously there can’t be a single metric for Chanel/PH to run a show on! The decision isn’t that straightforward but you have to admit that TRPs do have a huge impact on the viability of the show. It can swing the show towards the closure or continuation, keeping other aspects constant!

A good TRP does not necessarily equate to a long running show but low TRPs would definitely result in its shut down!

I think Chaotic mentioned this, they are destroying Vikrant character by the minute just to uplift other characters and make it look like they played no role of what happened pre-leap and Vikrant is the only culprit

They don't even have time to write dialogues for Vikrant , leave alone show his trauma. I agree with Resham maybe even Ayesha and Adnan were not convinced with that scene. It didn't have the spark of ManVik or AdSha . Sad how they are ruining, Vikrant and ManVik.

RD, i dont really get why makers are doing this.. even if their plan is to go DM way, even then they are going overboard with destroying vik's character... TRP audience might still be fine with the way ML is with FL but they will never forgive someone who doesn't treat his parents well.. and this narrative on how Vik is not caring for his parents is so overboard especially when Vik was someone who was ready to get into loveless marriage for his whole life, so that rotu wouldn't hurt themselves... he drank neetu's juices despite knowing it's making him Ill.. He doted on his parents so much...

And his anger, frustration is not coming across well, and the point is all this is already done preleap, with all of them trying to make Vik understand and Vik not understanding.. All this is already done preleap and they couldn't even fetch trp.... they made Vik do things out of his character and people didn't buy it, so much so that even manvik's pregnancy revelation didn't have much effect on trps..
