It’s not like they didn’t try murdering and commit other crimes. They did, but most of them were not successful. Maya looked bad because she would succeed in nearly all her crimes. Majority of the audience sympathized with Maya because even though the way she would get back at them was in wrong way, but her feelings of being hurt were not wrong. She was wronged a lot through the show.

I still don’t understand what makers were trying through that show because all the so called positive people were such terrible people. Only thing I can think through is they made them that way intentionally, so the audience feel for Maya as she was the FL of the show even if she wasn’t the typical fl. So they had to do everything to make audience feel for her or root for her. And that tagline about “Hadh se zyada kuch Bhi nahi hota, Pyar Bhi Nahi” was funny because I thought makers would show how obsessed love isn’t good and that’s what that tagline meant, but the way they ended the show it felt like they were saying no one should destroy their life like Maya did for Arjun, or anyone else doing it for someone else. They made Maya’s love pure and ended the show in a way that implied Arjun will always remain guilty and never have peace. That show was confusing 🫤

So essentially they can’t write a nuanced story with an antiheroine that actually is worth the substance and can terrify people like say a Saubhagyavati Bhava?

Maya tried to kill jhanvi thrice and jhanvi was paralysed for a long time.So tit for tat.

I didn't feel that arjun abused maya through out.he went against his family to support maya during the rape case.slapping saanjh for maya was a guilty pleasure for all maya fans including me.but post 2 years leap his behavior towards maya was horrible.but maya too made the world believe that he used to abuse her physically but in actual she was hurting herself.

I used to hate arjun when he wanted to divorce maya because of her controlling nature and over possessiveness.but after she killed his mother ... trapped his brother in fake rape case.. causing his accident I can't blame him for hating her.

Everyone felt that arjun married saanjh only to hurt maya as a revenge for killing his mother.Otherwise he didn't love her the way he loved maya.

Arjun killing maya was the worst punishment to all arya/maya fans.i couldn't sleep properly after that ending.saanjh getting arjun and a baby was unbearable.I have never hated any character like i hated saanjh though technically she was not negative. But she was obsessed like maya.

She was a so called mom to Maya but did the worst to her. Tried to kill her multiple times. Never protected her from Ashwin. She was the reason why Maya had so many issues. I don’t remember Arjun slapping saanjh except once when Maya lost her child and may be that another time when he slapped her because apparently she didn’t fight for her love like Maya did He did try to slap Maya. Anyway, what can one slap do when he abused her throughout. A slap would’ve been better than that abuse. I don’t think Arjun loved saanjh too because throughout the time they were married all he thought and everything he did was about Maya 24/7. He was obsessed with hating her that he forgot about his so called love, but saanjh deserved it. She wanted him so badly only to get nothing. Just namesake marriage and became infertile too. Disgusting devi then got a child too through Maya only.

What a painful ending for Jhanak and Anirudh. We even complained to StarPlus regarding that rape scene and adultery, but everything was denied by the channel by saying that rape scene was romantic companionship between two partners. Yuck 🤮

TBH call me saddist but Both Annirudh and Janak deserved this painful ending and i was Happy that they didn't live happily ever after.

All cast deserves bad ending only. Arshi and her mother was criminals but Anirudh and Jhanak no less. Both have no shame of doing EMA and trying to normalise it on name of love

That’s Sangeeta Ghosh iirc. Never found her particularly talented or appealing as an actress. She has always been too hyper. Her show Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chaand was trolled by the Khichdi team for a lot of things in Star Parivaar Awards hosted by them. One of the things they mentioned was her having an asthmatic attack like reaction every single time the hero came near her

If someone induced that reaction in me, I am less likely to fall in love with them and more inclined to thinking they’re using some perfume or something that has triggered my respiratory system so badly that it might kill me. No matter how attractive they might be, my idea of romance isn’t suicide induced by allergies.

Yes.they have a wrong message that mental patients cannot be cured and they cant lead a normal life.also that if people get involved with mental people their lives will be destroyed.I wish maya got cured and led a happy life.

I find Beyhadh worse as it made fun of mental illness and didn’t give full justice. Mental illnesses are already so stigmatized, so I hated what they did. I don’t know why Jhanak is still running. Having children with 2 biological sisters is disgusting. As for rape, I think fl also had sex with him when he was unconscious. So that would be rape too. Aren’t the current gen fl and pl biological sisters too? I heard Anirudh tried to killed this gen’s fl for his other daughter, the pl.

As for Jhanvi, I didn’t like Maya paralyzing her, but she was the worst mother. Even after knowing since childhood how much ashwin had abused Maya and how again he was trying to stop her for having one happiness in her life she instead hated Maya for stopping him and killing him. Jhanvi should’ve been the one to kill Ashwin, but she was too in love with that murderer and abuser to do so. So I could feel why Maya felt so neglected by her and started disliking her.

My favorite killing was of Vandana. Omg I hated that character so much. I loved when she died especially because she didn’t die easily too. As for saanjh she was never a positive character for me. Disgusting person. I hated her so much. She got everything of Maya’s. Wish Maya killed her :(
