I wanna say that it’s high time that a regulatory agency/board/body was formed to monitor the content of TV and OTT platforms but dear lord I don’t know given the current state of the censor board in India if we can even expect a sensible committee to do this job as is expected of them.

It baffles my mind that they would approve that trailer of Toxic with clear implications regarding what was happening though there was nothing graphic or explicit about it, that they would approve implied nudity scenes of Ranbir Kapoor in Animal but not only in theatres but on OTT as well they would edit/mute cuss words for an A rated movie!

If I can watch people getting boiled alive, their fingers chopped off and celebrations of terrorists over the incident that rocked not just my country but my city I can hear cuss words without flinching or being offended!

I swear the people in these boards are just a bunch of morons. So I don’t even know what to recommend here for TV and OTT given that the standards are in hell.

The other day Mansi’s interview was posted on Reddit about her wearing blue for first scene of her shows. So I went to Ghum episodes to see if she did that there too and I saw Savi ishaan’s first meeting. Brought back all memories. The quality of the episodes was so good. All/most of the characters were developed so well and all the kalesh it used to give until Ghum2/Ishvi end best part of the show was the bgm of the show. I think ghum was the first show after a long time having such beautiful bgm for a show

S1 was my favourite as it was so damn entertaining, especially post the leap. The leads had so much character compared to current leads. Sai was a sherni, Virat was nalla and Pakhi was fun to hate. That season became boring post Pakhi’s exit. As bad as she was, she was the heart and soul of Ghum 1.

The second season was my favourite till they stopped copying the OG show. I remember being so interested in the new gen when it started. I loved Isha and the planning plotting of the Bhosale’s. Ghum 2 is definitely better than that Shaurya Anokhi show as it has better actors. That season was doing so well with high TRP’s. Wish makers continued it rather than foolishly ending it and bringing another season.

I will never not miss Ghum. I legit miss it everyday and wish it still aired.

Raman got diarrhoea on his wedding night with Ishita owing to having rasam, gun powder and other masalas for the first time in his life. When he called the reception at the hotel booked for their wedding night to send him some medicines for the same, the desk person misunderstood and sent a package of condoms which Ishita ended up receiving.

He spent his wedding night in the bathtub of the bathroom of his hotel after the confusion was over, he was exhausted and had his new bride of a few hours laugh her head off at the whole situation and his plight.

Pretty sure nothing tops that except the morning after when they actually ended up consummating their marriage

I think I started watching Ghum1 post leap too. I knew the story already, so it was easier to just start watching it from the middle. Pakhi was my favorite. Everyone in the forum hated her, but I loved her so I felt so lonely I made a post asking if there were any Pakhi fans and then found out there were 2-3 members who somewhat liked Pakhi too but rest kept asking me why I liked Pakhi. I just watched Gen1 for Pakhi and bgm. I loved the music of the show

S2 was the best for me as I started watching it from the beginning and started loving Ishaa-Ishaan, Ishvi and that toxic bhosle family. Loved it until they brought back Reeva. Still it was good until the horrible end. They should’ve continued with Ishaa-Ishaa track. That track was the best along with Ishvi, the toxic Bhosale and Bajirao. They unnecessarily removed Ishaa to bring reeva and fl’s ddp. The OG show was focused on mother-son bonding and the leads’ story, but ganja being ganja thought third angle and fl’s ddp would be better when the show was number 1 before that
