Trupti, I am confused, didn't ARS wanted to get M married to Vikrant from 1st episode before she even knew who Mannat was ?

Mannat and DCP have been in the same house for 7 7 years. Their priority has been to make ends meet and try to be there to support Rotu in the worst phase of their life and provide Dua a sevure happy childhood.

There is trust, there is understanding the unsaid too and above all respect for each other. The 7 years have been sufficient for them to understand and cate for each other. DCP has shown care and respect to Rotu when they needed it the most..

Mumbai wasa reminder of all that they loved and carex for that was snatched away from them.

When the man in your life questions your character and believes tje words of all and sundry but demands proof from you, when it is mafe to appear that he abandoned you at tje altar and snatched away your unborn childs rights with divorce papers, when he didnt come to be wirh you at the funeral of your mother Mannat i feel is justified in her hurt.

Mannat had stood up to Vishaka that she will not let her harm Rotu and she has lived upto it.

Neetu had been Nasty to Mannat for a long rime yet it is not in Mannats nature to rub salt into their wounds when Neetu is totally shattered.

She gives them the place of parents in her life.

Vikrant s choices are his hamartia. He chose vishakas words over Rotus. He supports Malla and her Brat. He befriends Yashika. Again accepts ARS aka Arzoo as his business partner and looks like they dont have to provide any saboot to validate their claims unlike Mannat.

There is bound to be MUs to keep the show going.

Mannat should not provide any justification for her actions. Its upto Vikrant to disentangle himself from the vicious embrace of the 5 dementors he has brought on himself.

The update is that during a colourful public event, destiny brings Mannat and Vik into the same space even though they are trying to stay apart. A planned public proposal, driven by manipulation, almost happens but is stopped at the last moment due to fate and Vik’s resurfacing emotions, preventing Mannat from getting hurt again. When the scheme fails, Y gets panic and it its way of babaji of showing that he is the supreme power. This shows how desperation and manipulation lose control while hope starts guiding actions instead. At the heart of it all is Dua, her fear turns into faith as she places her trust in Babaji, symbolises through the kite carrying her prayer for her nani health. That innocent act not only protects what matters most but also begins to heal Mannat’s wounded heart, reinforcing that destiny is quietly correcting what went wrong years back.

If we go back to pre-leap and for a second consider that Mannat told the truth to Vikrant about his birth truth...she would have been still at the receiving end of his wrath..

Neetu would flip, Vikrant would end up taking her side after emotional Maa beta reunion and Mannat would have gotten kicked out of SM.

The only good thing would have happened was Shruti would have been alive...

I feel there won't be any manvik faceoff even in makar sankranti event, nor will vik actually sees and realises it's mannat... I guess they are purposely delaying manvik face off and confrontations so that all these major drama episodes will parallel their new shows premier week.... So that the increased reach of mannat show can spill over to their new show...

Sankranti event might also be hit and miss event.. Vik might meet dua and offer her a place in competition and might want to talk her parents but dua denies wanting to be part of competition and might also say her parents are against it... And vik might leave.... Meanwhile due to mishap created by guddi mannat might loose her Dubai opportunity and despite not wanting she might accpet dua participating in competition for sake of neetu's operation

And it's there where first there will be manvik face off followed by vik seeing dhairya with mannat and there will be series of confrontations and after dua wins competition he will know dua is daughter of mannat.. All this sequence might start from next Saturday..

I don't like to get into ML vs FL as a rule because if I like a ship, I love both characters.

But I am seeing such a meltdown in X as well. I am truly puzzled. This is a rant post in general. Alll the characters are equally at fault at different points. Why are we not able to see ?

We have seen DK with Mannat, Mannat giving him all rights as Dua's father. She knows Vikrant's anger therefore has blindly believed whatever Dua said. i am still hoping Dua will tell her how he saved her.

That apart, did she ever imagine Vik will not marry her; when she hid the truth? No. Did she imagine Vik would throw his parents without a backward glance at them to see how they are managing? No. Like it or not, Mannat has seen the worst side of Vikrant.

Plus, she has seen him with Yaashika & Yuvi. Y hugged Vik. We as the audience know he was uncomfortable, did she know. Why should she presume he has not moved on??

Yashika was there in Vik's first ever interaction with his daughter. She is there in every significant moment of his life; she controls the domestic situation in his house, sleeps in his room. What more do we want to know her place in his life? Can he replace Mannat with her, not at all, but she has made space in his life!! Why are we ignoring her?? And she is Vikrant's choice.

Coming to DK, he has been with Mannat during her worst time. He supported her & helped her get back on her feet. He has been with Mannat through Ritu's ill heath, everything. But DK was never her choice of support. There was no other option at that point in life. To be fair, till now they have a platonic relationship between them. Did she keep Rotu away from Vik? Vik left them with no choice but to depend on DK.

Of course, now her Baba jaap is getting annoying. Their chai pe charcha is getting annoying from a viewing perspective. Point noted, & locked in. Mannat atp, trusts DK over Vikrant.

What I am irritated is not that Dua has not yet told them Vik saved her. But both DK and Mannat have not pulled her up for using Bunty's phone, lying to all of them, and running away! DK knew everything but was not alert. And Mannat is not seeing that he is too casual about these things.

At this point, both Manvik are poised to move to a different phase. Yashika is using Yuvi to get Vik to marry her. He is in a relationship with Yashika where marriage is the next step, let's accept it.

Please tell me even if Vik sees DK, Mannat, he will not say yes to Yaashika's proposal. Someone give me that guarantee! If you say he deserves to move on, then good for him.

He will then face a dilemma when he knows about Dua. Am sure we will continue to blame Mannat, saying Vik deserves to be with Dua. No, he needs to wake up. He has noticed one significant aspect - ARS. This should lead him to be suspicious.

If we are going to blame the writing for Vikrant, let's blame the writing for Mannat too!!

Mukta is damn right when she says Vamps and negativity brings the drama...

Currently the vamp of the show disguised as a good man is DK... everyone everywhere rants about him... expects him to take higher ground and absolving Vik of any responsibility or making amends. This is very similar to how Malla was treated... only that people wanted her punished for her crimes.

DK is not for Mannat... he is there for Dua... for Vik to realise where he messed up. Its yet another parallel to the theme of the show ... nature vs nurture.

DK is not supposed to have any growth in his character. He is a sidey. Neither do we need any more scenes on what he thinks 🤔

But Vik needs to.... just because DK Mannat are proxy parents to Dua doesnt mean YV equation is justified.

For that matter YV hone ka jyada chance hai... Y is hell bent on marrying V and V is anyway a volatile person who takes wrong decisions. DK doesnt have romantic intentions for Mannat but the less said the better about what Vik allows Y to do for him.

Give it time and Y would be in focus and the problems would increase for Manvik.

What happenened to people wanting Viks redemption and regret????

Just because Vik shed some tears and is shown pining for Mannat doesnt mean he can be absolved of everything he did pre leap. Neither does Mannat claiming DK as Duas father mean anything.

He hasnt yet realised where he messed up... and he wont till he starts opening his eyes... this is a man who is pally with Malla... who was also equally responsible for the seperation.

Mannat is lying to Dua but she too has been misled. The moment she and RoTu realise Vik was not aware, they will disown DK... phir kya karenge sab????

Why do people forget that for Mannat Vik is not returning and Vik believes Mannat disowned him. This status quo will remain till truths start tumbling out. Audience knows both sides not the characters. They are not supposed to behave the way we want simply because for them a different reality exists.

Y and DK are both sidey, at the moment DK is getting more dialogues and Y will get her time soon as we already know .

Y is being portrayed as a villain out to get Vikrant for her wealth, there is no mask for her for audience to have different opinions or interpretations on her behavior.

DK on the other hand is being portrayed like he had and is doing favors to all the characters, is this true is left to audience interpretation. If the writers are going to this extent to make a character look like martyre it's normal for viewers to question this characters past and present behavior.
