In real life the autowala would have come to them and said tum dono apna Rona dhona baad mein karna pehle mere paise do

May the autowala doesn't accept UPI only cash accepted

In Mumbai it’s hard to find an auto these days that doesn’t accept UPI

One autowala had a plastic debit card size Card of his UPI and he whisked it out of his wallet

I bet autowalas will start having NFC readers on the meter too in coming years

I am from Kutch, as in it’s my native place, and I was there in the last week of November. Believe me, you didn’t find a single shop, vendor and even restaurants or petrol pumps without UPI scanners. You can pay for a 10 rupee tea at a roadside shop via UPI, have some street food or even buy prasad and offerings at Maata Nu Madh, the most important Mandir in Kutch as well as shop for souvenirs from outside with UPI.

UPI was introduced by Modi and what he implements, Gujarat as a state accepts in a heartbeat.

Also, so far we are yet to see a single traffic jam/signal and more importantly, something that assures us it’s Mumbai - Vada Pav stalls as well as some under construction road dug up for some Metro line or another

I have honestly forgotten what roads looked like without those huge boards from Mumbai Metro informing us since an infinity that Mumbai Metro Line No X is coming up here
