Yes, after YHM I didn’t get back on IF for ages. Kyunki pulled me back and so has Dhurandhar strangely, because I rarely participated in Bollywood forum back then. I rarely watch movies and even among those not as many have enough substance in the plot to merit an actual discussion.

Nostalgia pulled me back on the show, Smriti got me back to the forum because I had to comment on how she was reliving Tulsi again and how I felt it was different from the OG show and what still feels the same.

Also i think bones castle came later because when I used to watch SS in star utsav channel, I guess it was already off aired from star plus. Also I binged watched castle when it used to air in star world 🤣🤣🤣

I genuinely can’t remember how many forums I have been on but as a Hiten fan I might be on the forums of the shows he was on provided I liked the show enough. Sometimes even he couldn’t make me watch a show even if I wanted to

Bones, Castle are also themselves based off of X files. Scully Mulder are the OGs.

But since I followed Bones and Castle mostly I used them as examples as they were proper crime procedurals.

X files was mostly about aliens and so I guess it qualifies more of a fantasy/supernatural/horror/procedural. Too many genres there

I never understood the hype for Kyunki as I was too young and didn't get to watch.

I tuned in just for Smriti and I'll watch for her.

Now, I understand why Kyunki is the quintessential 2000s show.

This already happened before too, remember IPKKND, Star had season 2 with same name but with different production house! The second season in terms of storyline was so strong that it awaken up dead evening timeslot, in short second season PH kept up the legacy! Hope this time Zee and Pavitra Rishta new PH manage to do the same as well

They were a conglomerate, Mansukh divided it in his will amongst his grandsons. He left properties to Mihir, Tulsi and Kiran. Gold and silver to Shobha. Poor Karisma wasn’t even remembered by the writers 🤣

They’ve not explained why all the sons are abroad or wherever they are in this season. We still don’t get a mention of Chirag, Sejal, Suhasi, Gautam, Harsh and so many others.

Tbh, Anyone who writes caption on Hotstar for Kyunki should be fired. They are so inaccurate and doesn't match the episode.

Also the montage/picture. During Karan's India entry, they put Vrinda on it while the whole episode was about Nandini Mihir tussle.

I used to watch so many shows of Hiten back then( mid 2000s that my younger cousin, we used to have only one TV for the family back then) actually complained to my dad like "ye kya hai, ko serial achha lagta hai wo dekhe to samajh aata hai, lekin isko to Hiten ka koi ghatia sa serial bhi dekhna hota hai"
