I remember SBB/SBS/SBAS, basically every show which covered TV news went nuts on that scene and were on location showing how it was being shot before it even aired as at the time it was the most expensive shot in the history of TV in India. No other show had spent approximately 10 lakh rupees iirc for a single sequence. They brought in multiple cameras, some round trolley, lots of fans and of course those harnesses that had AD flying. Not only was Kyunki the first show to film such an expensive scene but it was also the first show to feature such a sequence where a mother would kill her son. Post this the scene was repeated twice I think but none lived up to the hype and standards of this scene.
In many of those BTS, Gauri is seen sitting on a chair between shots with a sling in her hand. Akashdeep was supposed to hold her arms tightly, he accidentally twisted her arm a bit too much and she got a hairline fracture from it or a ligament tear.
You have a very sharp memory 
I just remember few lines like Ansh saying Vishal ki to laash mili thi par iski nahin milegi something like that. Then after Tulsi shot him blood was flowing profusely from his mouth.
When it was found that Harsh was Kesar's son many people thought they will make Karan the lost son of Tulsi
