Ekta Restrained on Arushi - Article

Ekta Kapoor's plans of increasing its TRP through the dramatized version of Arushi murder case in 'Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki' has come under fire from Dr Nupur Talwar, Arushi's mother.


The Information and Broadcasting ministry officials have told the Star channel not to telecast the episode till the case is finally resolved and the channel has agreed to it.

Earlier, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and central minister Renuka Chaudhary had complained to I & B ministry against the plans of Balaji Telefilms to sensationalize the Arushi murder case to garner more TRPs.

However, insiders say that now Ekta Kapoor too has changed the track and claims that her plot is completely different, with no resemblance to Arushi murder case. Sources say that now the serial has Parvati's granddaughter Tanu murdered and the Agarwal family is shocked to know that murderer is one of them. This track will go on air between June 16 and June 19.

Let's see how czarina comes out of this controversy….for Ekta can do anything with her characters…….till then keep your fingers crossed!!
