Thats the whole point lol why not praise in public whats stopping them…that round table with anupama where folks are mentioning every movie other than the elephant in the room explains everything…they just cant see that their fake narratives in their movies are no longer working for the common people…im actually glad these folks have shown their true colors by keeping quiet…jealous, mafia supporters, egoist etc
Well... isn't that 'jumping on conclusions' supporting a certain kind of thinking about certain people one doesn't even r e a l l y know?
As for Anupama = no comment from my side as I don't follow anything she does/did/uttered since quite a lot of years... when I got to know her personally, she became someone of 'no further interest' to me...

Yes... and there should not be a lot of guessing why...
With now another prominent overseas release (Hongkong, right?) it should be able to even cross Aamir's Dangal- worldwide gross number (incl. China release)...
Dhurandhar isn't the first spy-movie dealing with Pakistan but it certainly is a first of t h i s kind - at least looking at the part 1... (I suppose that certain people have learned a lesson throughout the years.)
There still isn't a content-discussion of the movie in the forum, isn't it? Interesting with all the threads about the movie... mostly it is about numbers and box-office success and/or a (mostly) petty Ranveer/Ranbir 'fan-war'...
Personally, I don't like a movie to get labels (apart from genre-terms)... people who assign the label "propaganda" to Dhurandhar without giving explicit reasons for their thinking (with examples out of the movie), is like 'propaganda' in itself... as long as this is done this way, I will stick to the performances (like I did for Chaava) and the quality of the making and have no objection of the (deliberately only) Hindi version to cross all numbers in this number-game.

By that logic no movie's box office should ever be discussed then since every film has undergone inflationary effect. Also in the past 3-4 years the levels of inflation are not so drastic to make the data incomparable. Were you to use that argument for Mughal e Azam or Sholay, I would understand but films released in the past 5 years are fairly recent and barely show any major impact of inflation to disallow comparability with films released this year!!
Although I post numbers of Sacnilk in the respective posts where people feel that those numbers are important, my personal take on those numbers is: yes, I don't care for them... it's something that doesn't tell me anything about the content/quality of a movie but only is important for the financial part of the industry (and that part has nothing to do with the art/creativity).
There are so many movies telling wonderful (uplifting or educating for the human mind) stories, I cherish even when not getting successful at the boxoffice... the financial succes would be just a bonus to me.
As for the illusion about the inflation rate... well... keep them...and one can get the actual 'value' in crores of every movie released with a known life-time boxoffice - if one values numbers to that extent...

Not really lol it is quite apparent if you ask me…no need for me to go sherlock holmes mode for this…all the attributes i mentioned on bollywood n folks mentioned are pretty much in public domain…glad to see people making a movie challenging everything bollywood stands for n portrays a smashing blockbuster…
SM is full of praises for everybody..Akshaye, Rakesh Bedi, even Sanjay Dutt n Arjun Rampal..But the one who deserves all the praise..who actually outdid himself and performed amazingly well is not getting his well deserved praise. Wonder why..
Well done Ranveer Singh!
